The city of Melankholia. A shadowy sub-world, full of monsters and misery.Not everything is terrible, though. People are generally nice, and they've recently come in to having their own sun. The new abundance of light, and the plants that followed it, are a nice change from the dark and dreary world that most shades grew up in.Lola recalls the way it used to be. She remembers the endless gray skies, lighter in the day and darker at night but always present. Now they have sunrises and sunsets and stars. Considering what little else has changed, it's actually kind of nice.There are still nightmares, there is still danger and decay. Lola works as a nightmare hunter, the job she always dreamed of having when she was young. Together with her partner Braddock, they try to make the city safer. Things are better than they used to be. She has a garden now, and their district even has a school. Every day, things get a little easier.Of course, in a city like Melankholia, that never lasts.
