This volume reports on excavations at the western side of Metchley Roman fort. Aside from the defences themselves, comprising double-ditches and a turf rampart, they uncovered possible evidence of a preparatory construction camp, a palisade trench forming a western annexe which may have been associated with the on-site production of pottery, and the first structural evidence for a civilian settlement at the site. This comprised a total of six timber-framed structures, including three open-sided strip buildings, interpreted as shops, laid out along a gravelled trackway leading out of the fort.

An area excavation was undertaken in December 2004-May 2005 within the western part of the interior and defences of Metchley Roman fort, Birmingham (central England) in advance of proposals for a new hospital development. This was the largest single excavation of the fort interior undertaken at Metchley, comprising an area of approximately 0.4ha, equivalent to approximately 9% of the total internal area of the Phase 1 and Phase 3 fort. This volume, the fourth in the reports, concentrates on the researches into the western fort interior, defences, and post-Roman activity.
In The Great Reset: And the War for the World, the most controversial man on earth Alex Jones gives you a full analysis of The Great Reset, the global elite's international conspiracy to enslave humanity and all life on the planet. From central bankers, corporate billionaires, and corrupted government officials, global elites have been organizing a historic war on humanity under a trans-humanist, scientific dictatorship. Alex Jones was the first major figure to expose the World Economic Forum’s agenda. He has dedicated the last 30 years of his life to studying The Great Reset, conducting tens of thousands of interviews with top-level scientists, politicians, and military officials in order to reverse engineer their secrets and help awaken humanity. The Great Reset: And the War for the World chronicles the history of the global elites' rise to power and reveals how they’ve captured the governments of the world and financed The Great Reset to pave the way for The New World Order. Once dubbed a conspiracy theory, but now openly promoted by the most powerful corporations and governments, The Great Reset is a planned attempt to redistribute all the world’s wealth and power into the hands of banks, corporations, billionaires, and The World Economic Forum. If you read one book in a lifetime, this is it. In The Great Reset: And the War for the World, you will discover from the self-appointed controllers of the planet in their own words, their plan for what they call the final revolution, or The Great Reset. The only way this corporate fascist conspiracy can succeed is if the people of the world are not aware of it. And this book lays out their sinister blueprint and how to stop it. While many great books have been written to help awaken people to this sinister agenda, no author has ever spent as much time and research on The Great Reset as Alex Jones. The Great Reset: And the War for the World is the undisputed trailblazer for understanding what’s happening and how to stop it.

The Death of My Monster, Mourning Him and Meeting my Broken Mother Again My mother is on borrowed time, and it was time to give her just one more chance. What I learned was shocking. Perhaps, I was too broken and too young to have seen. Perhaps, I was so trapped in my own brokenness that I failed to fully understand how crushed she was. There was nothing but pieces of her left, and it was the beginning of her own self-destructiveness. I wasn't the only one crawling out of a dark hole; she was crawling and losing. It took her more than three decades to climb that deep hole and scrape her pieces back together. Suddenly, I catch glimpses of the mother she was in between. I started remembering little moments that weren't filled with anger and hatred. I remembered moments between us that had drowned under our brokenness. I did not fully understand or realize how terribly broken she was, and how my father shattered her life. With no family, mother or father to ask for help, she was trapped in a life she was desperate to escape. My father broke her, and then he went on with his life.We were all products of a darkness in this world. We were all caught up in an evil we couldn't escape. Not my father. Not my mother. Not us. I understand that today, and most things make sense. I still have moments of anger towards my father, but it's different now. They are moments of anger infused with an overwhelming sadness that causes me to shout out to him about all our what-if's and what-should-have-been's. Some days, I berate him loudly for his stupid mistakes, and other days, I wonder what broke him? The thing is, I don't know much about my father's younger years or childhood. I don't know about a traumatic event he might have suffered, or if perhaps history was repeating itself. I don't know? I never asked. I never wanted to know because, at the time, it would never have justified what he did to us. So today, I want to ask mothers and daughters to talk about this. Talk about your brokenness and don't wait three decades to get it right. Understand one another and pick up your broken pieces together. Broken Mother, tell her about your own shattered heart. With love, Alex
I learned to pray for me.The journey began after a lifetime of doubt that led to one single moment of faith where hope was born and messages from above were sent to a hesitant soul amidst extraordinary fears. I hate the term child sexual abuse. I hate that it was given a name, and therefore, given an existence. Giving it a label gives it power. It gave it a home and it gave it someone to pounce on. By naming what had come into our lives, I had given into the fears it came in with. It was strong. Powerful. Monstrous. It was everything nightmares were made of. But, without minimizing the damage and destruction it set out to do, I took the first steps in conquering the demon and named it nothing. The thing was nothing. It didn't have an existence that could win the war it was waging against my family and me. It was only a thing. Something that was nothing. I had a name and that made me so much more valuable than something that didn't deserve an existence. When I unnamed my own personal monster, did I begin to strengthen against it. The Afterwards is a story recounting true events around surviving a series of traumatic incidents, only to discover that what happens afterwards is so much more unforgiving and crueler that the actual thing. The promise that the thing is over and that nothing could harm me from that moment on was so far from the reality of what takes place afterwards. The Afterwards lingers and never goes away. It never leaves and it never heals. It can never be anything else and will never evolve into something else. There is nothing after The Afterwards. It is where the end begins. It was always the beginning of the end. But The Afterwards can be different. Better. Don't coddle her or pity her, just tell her that she did the right thing and that the guilt or shame was never hers to carry. Help her unload her armor. Her war is over. Her injuries will heal and her scars will fade. Let her unpack the load she's carrying, it's too heavy. It should never have been piled onto her. Give her the confirmation she needs to pick up all her broken pieces, and help her glue them back together. Be her mother. Her grandmother. Her aunt. Her sister. Her friend. Don't be there for the thing, but rather for The Afterwards.
Life on the farm with aliens and hippidom.

Do you want to bulk up in all the right places, get that six-pack you've always dreamed of, maximize your strength and your stamina? You can accomplish all of those by spending just $32 on a single item. The mighty kettlebell Kettlebells are often described as a handheld gym for a very good reason - they're so versatile that you can train nearly every part of the body with them. Do you want to: ● Do Schwarzenegger-level bodybuilding● Maximize your functional strength● Work out anywhere, anytime... yes, even in your tiny room● Strengthen your core and get those sexy toned abs● Improve your balance● Improve your posture● Gain the confidence that all men with lean physique enjoy? If so, you need to head to the nearest sports store and buy a kettlebell right now. Once you have your "handheld gym," you'll simply have to master your form and technique to make the most of this relatively easy to use exercise option.

This volume provides an overview and synthesis of excavations from 1934 to 2019 at Metchley Roman forts, Birmingham, one of the most extensively investigated Roman military complexes in the midlands. The first fort of mid-Neronian date may have been occupied by a garrison of around 1,000 auxiliaries. The fort was later enlarged by annexes on three sides. It was succeeded by a military stores depot. After a short abandonment, a smaller Flavian fort was occupied briefly. The internal buildings of timber-framed construction were well-preserved, including a rare double barrack block, granaries, workshops, the praetorium, stables and store buildings. This volume includes specialist overviews of the small finds, pottery and environmental evidence. This book has been published with the support of a Historic England publication grant.
