Continuing their search for the legendary and powerful Map of Gneima, Oliver, Gemma and Nikko travel to the Desert of Riakalah in Sanzotur. There they follow their mysterious clues to the giant Arch of Gaya. Meanwhile, the kingdom of Rootan is taken over by another - one more evil and wicked than King Portenza. A terrible plague descends on the kingdom, and all are afraid of what will happen to them next.

It's been three years since the adventure with the Sibylline books. This time Willie digs deep into the old trunk of treasures his great-grandmother left in her attic and finds an old and strange Egyptian map. Uncertain where the map is leading him, Willie follows its siren call to try to uncover its secrets. But this journey takes him to Cairo with its mysterious Egyptian pyramids and subterranean caverns below the Great Sphinx. There Willie and his new friend Shannon find themselves trapped in a lost world - one with an ancient civilization long thought to have vanished from Earth thousands of years ago.

The third adventure takes Oliver, Gemma, Donus and Nikko into the cold tundra of the kingdom of Frezia. There, Oliver is forced into a deadly contest to track down another piece of the Gneima puzzle.King Barbarot and his army are on a campaign of destruction and war to take over all the neighboring kingdoms and force them into slavery under his rule. Meanwhile, Oliver's aunt and uncle are plotting to take back control of Rootan after another old foe-Viceroy Konjuur-slips into the kingdom and is leading its people in revolt.

The date is 1881; the scene, the western frontier-Texarkana, Arkansas. Reports of a monster living near and around the swampy lowlands, not a day's ride from the town, have sparked the interest of a well-respected, medical doctor in Boston. Only in his thirties, Dr. Reginald Cook (nicknamed, "Bones") is approached by government officials to investigate the massacre of army corpsmen that took place near Boggy Creek-the swamp area near Texarkana. Dr. Bones takes up the challenge and is joined by a woman whose wealthy family decides to help the doctor with his travel expenses but on the condition that her daughter and nephew go along. The doctor arrives in Texarkana only to discover more than just an alleged attack by a monster. Quickly, he becomes embroiled in something far bigger that could end disastrously-both for the town and for the three monster hunters.

Book Five of the series continues the epic journey of Oliver and Nikko as they struggle to find the remaining pieces of the Map of Gneima. While in Vulcanage, the team becomes divided and members are left to their own wits to find a path home. Oliver and Nikko embark on a grand odyssey in the Sea of Imbrium and face countless monsters and powerful magic that threaten their quest. Donus and Perdita are blocked in their efforts to return to Rootan as Gemma seeks to reunite with Oliver and Nikko before they cast off from port. Meanwhile, Barbarot pushes to finish his conquest of all the kingdoms of the empire so he might lay claim to the Emperor's throne. ... and so the epic quest continues.

The date is 1882; the scene, New York City. There have been a series of murders of young women in Midtown, and the police are baffled. They believe the killer is surfacing from manholes in the sewer system, mutilating his victims, and returning back to the depths to escape. However, they are unsure whether the killer is of human or non-human origin. Dr. Bones takes up the challenge and is joined by a young woman whose wealthy family has decided to help the doctor with his new ambition. The investigation soon leads them to the Canarsee Indians and legends about sprites, known as Wemategunis (Wemas), that once inhabited the forests of Manhattan. By the late nineteenth century, the trees were mostly long gone, replaced by brick and mortar and the hustle-bustle of carriages, trollies and people hurrying to and from their destinations. Who or what is responsible for the serial murders? Can the killing spree be stopped? Bones and Missy work with a NYPD detective to try to solve the mystery and bring a halt to the gruesome events.

Will uncovers two bottles of mysterious elixirs within his Gramma's trunk of relics. The bottles come from a source in South America--one originally discovered by St. Germaine, a legendary French aristocrat. Germaine is a name wrapped in mystery as it has surfaced and resurfaced often throughout the ages-from the seventeenth through the nineteenth centuries. All sightings of the man have been associated with the Fountain of Youth and eternal life. But when an outbreak of a virulent contagion spreads across the globe, a link is made between the plague and what is contained within the two bottles of Gramma Zulov. Could they be the source of the plague or the cure? Will's family and friends are again placed in a maelstrom of confusion and danger as powers far greater than they are threatened. At risk of being connected to the growing global scandal, these powers will not sit idle and watch decades of planning go down in flames. They will strike back.

The date is 1883; the scene is the lake country of Minnesota. Dr. Cook, Missy Grey, and Samuel, venture out again-this time to find the fierce, man-eating wendigo monster. In a rush to locate the creature before a private group of bounty hunters, Bones, Missy and Samuel are asked to follow the trail of a monster that has been spotted in the outland reaches of Minnesota. Meanwhile, Dr. Cook's sister fights TB and battle other-worldly demons at the same time. It is all Madam Grey and Bones's brother, Orville, can do to hold things together while the monster hunters follow the trail of their latest assignment. This is where their journey begins ...
