Believers and Non-Believers alike wonder: - Is it even possible to please God? - Isn't God just waiting on me to mess up? - Has anyone ever really pleased God? I wanted to please God. I really did. I just didn't know how In my search for answers, I feel like I was led by the Spirit to a single verse in the Bible: Job 1:8. "Have you considered my servant Job? There is no one on earth like him; he is blameless and righteous, a man who fears God and shuns evil." WHAT? Did God just proclaim that about a man like me? Who was this guy and what was his secret? In this personal journey and Bible study of Job, I discovered his secrets; I found out HOW Job had arrived at such an exalted place in life. I discovered what he did to be called out by the LORD God of Heaven and Earth. It was an acclamation like no other in all recorded history. After I learned his secrets, I realized that other believers could benefit from what I had found: The secrets to pleasing Almighty God were exposed for all to see.

This book uses Ludwig Wittgenstein’s philosophical methodology to solve a problem that has perplexed thinkers for thousands of years: 'how come (abstract) mathematics applies so wonderfully well to the (concrete, physical) world?' The book is distinctive in several ways. First, it gives the reader a route into understanding important features of Wittgenstein’s writings and lectures by using his methodology to tackle this long-standing and seemingly intractable philosophical problem. More than this, though, it offers an outline of important (sometimes little-known) aspects of the development of mathematical thought through the ages, and an engagement of Wittgenstein’s philosophy with this and with contemporary philosophy of mathematics on its own terms. A clear overview of all this in the context of Wittgenstein’s philosophy of mathematics is interesting in its own right; it is also just what is needed to solve the problem of mathematics and world.
