Both shocking and funny, but always entertaining, these short stories that have the common thread of relationships, both good and not so good, some with deep friendship that may be put to the test. Along the way they make new friends, share adventures, get into a bucketful of sticky situations, travel from Louisville, Ky to St. Pete, Florida, which was only possible because of Marge's bravery in helping her best friend escape from a different kind of prison. Instead of sitting in rockers watching time go by, they live life on their own terms, and, eventually, become a chosen family, defeating the ageism of our cultural. Check it out, I think you'll like these wonderful women and their love of life. I see this as a tribute to the fact that age only means what you make of it, and Gracie and Marge are living the heck out of the life they have.

She uncovers odd, but telling, clues and discovers the truth about the dead man's spoiled, unhappy son, and his greedy, narcissistic wife, weaving the protagonist's way through a tangled web of lies and deceit and the threat of connections between both the suicide, and the death of her own father. Even more of a challenge, how can Sage work with the son of the dead guy, when he is the one who put that bloody hole in her side?
