HOOD LIFE One girl's mother's a tweaker. Another girl grows up in the Projects. The third is orphaned at nine. Each girl is of a different race. If they hadn't been in the same magnet in middle school, they would never have become friends. Love comes and goes, or stays, throughout high school, college and after. Ten years after high school graduation, two of the girls meet up at a funeral. The third has gotten lost along the way. Life in the hood has twisted all their paths.
