Theoretically, tax policy should be very important to voters--after all, it's their money that's being collected. Yet most voters are unaware of the economics of various tax policies, and uninterested in contrasting different tax policies from an ethical perspective. This book seeks to redress these problems, informing voters about the economics of different tax policies, and suggesting an ethical framework for evaluating current taxes and future tax proposals.
