Erin loses her husband in a plane accident. After she has buried him, she suddenly decides to move to West Virginia. Why, she doesn't know. When she purchases a home she discovers that there is a spirit residing there. She accepts it and tries to make a new slate on her life. Then she discovers a man named Eric in her house. She summons the police and a priest to rid herself of the two men. She discovers that Adam, her spirit is an angel and that he was sent to bring Eric and Erin together. When at last they are married, she vows that no matter what she will always love Eric, even after death. He will be hers forever. Eric vows to be with her always even after death.

Two people meet at a party. Elyse knows that she has a past life and resigns herself to the fact that she will never find her past love. Norris knows that he has a past life and is searching for his one true love. Through a friend he finds out that she may have returned finally after a hundred years.
