This book is devoted to all women (and men) who have gone through many trials and tribulations in their lives, who have come full circle, and who have had to face life and situations as is-women who can put aside their play putty and know they cannot shape the world and control the situations around them. Women sometimes look at the world through rose-colored glasses, rather than realistically. Life is hard to the fact, therefore skewing the facts makes it easier to deal with life's troubles; hiding is at times more attractive than facing the reality of a situation. We as women must force ourselves to accept situations "as is" and have the strength and willingness to change with the situations and problems and accept and deal with heartaches that come into our lives. These situations and problems are like strong gusts of wind. Women often create a situation in their minds that makes dealing with life's tragedies easier-they will skew the facts to make their life less painful.

What is the temperature of your Spiritual garment? What does your walk show? How does that garment fit? When garments do not fit well they usually need altering. When our walk does not mirror Jesus', we need to check the pattern (Word) and sew up the rip in our garments; which pattern are you using? Women do not like ill-fitting garments whether it is a rip or tear in their clothing. A physical garment with a tear in it is noticeable to all and as is a tear noticeable in our spiritual garments; it affects how others see or perceive your walk in Christ. A mother's advice is priceless, a precious jewel. The Thirty-first Chapter of Proverbs is a timeless tutorial. It paints a picture of the love and care of a mother and the desire for her son that he be pleasing to God and her vows to God raising him in the admonition and nurture of the Lord. King Lemuel's Mother put forth three questions: What my son? What the son of my womb? What the son of my vows?She is asked and answered the questions. She advised him on the characteristics to look for in a woman when choosing a wife. Also, a warning when it relates to women other than his mate whether they be his friends, close acquaintance, or women around him in general. Being a King over an enormous kingdom makes him a target for strange women. Walking circumspectly is wise. As well, she cautions him of the dangers of a King falling prey to the vices of wine, strong drink, partying, and strange women with sweet enticing words dripping from her lips like honey from a comb. A King is duty-bond to his responsibilities and the people who he has oversight; judgements must be fair, justice must prevail; he must not have a respect of person; be cognizant of the poor and those who are helpless who have no other voice but his to plead their causes. His focus should be on his obligations and not be drawn away by the allurements of the world. In the words of Solomon, "My son, hear the instruction of thy father, and forsake not the law of thy mother," Proverbs 1:8].
