The Native American has for many hundreds of years fought long and hard through many battles and suffered broken treaties to try to hold onto their lands and traditions. Many famous Native Americans have been noted and credited for the successes, or failures, of some of those well known battles. Names that we all know and recognise, and will live on in history forever. But there are others, perhaps not so famous, who played their part in Native American history. This book mentions just some of them. A few that I personally have chosen to honour, through this book, for their part. And there are many, many more.
