He was a visionary. Shane introduced the first frozen diet dinner, proposed the first gas station mini-mart, and was the first to license the Slinky patent. But more than anything, he was The Shepherd of the Sand Hills and the life of the party.

"God only knows, for I do not, how this man could do such a deed. Devils may know how he could do it, but it is beyond the ken of any human being with a heart to conceive."
