Destruction is what's left after a life has been taken so carelessly. Hurt, pain, and anguish surge as families battle with grief hoping to one day be able to put the pieces of their lives back together yet for many, that day never comes. The epidemic known as gun violence knows no age, race, gender, sexual orientation, or religion. It instead can only relate to one thing and that one thing is destruction...

The Rollin 40 Crips and the 62(6-Deuce) Brims battle each other to take over the streets of East Nashville in Tennessee. Neither will stop at anything to be named kings of the streets, but along the way, they will learn that the word loyalty holds very little weight and everyone in the street game has their own agenda.

After a death comes the funeral and then the burial. Then everyone gathers at a designated place to console each other then eat. Once everything is said and done and it's all over, the loved ones are left to sort through hurt feelings alone. In the case of gun violence victims, most people disappear once the funeral and burial are over. The loved ones of the victim are left to sort out things on their own while the case tends to go cold. There is a lot to be learned from gun violence victims and their cases and this book gives out many messages that can impact today's society.
