How would you describe the Abundant Life?Some would describe it from a financial perspective. Some would describe it from the perspective of power and influence. Some would describe it from the perspective of health and well-being.Jesus said that He came so that we might have life and have it abundantly. He made it clear that the only sure foundation for the Abundant Life is the good, sound theology of the Word of God, Holy Scripture, and a living faith relationship with Him. And the more we know and live that Word, the deeper that relationship with Him, the more abundant life becomes. As the saying goes, "A Bible that is falling apart from use, usually belongs to a person who is not falling apart."Wise men of old considered theology to be the "queen of the sciences" because everything since creation, including creation itself, is founded upon good, sound theology. And that good, sound theology is the "order of creation" established by a transcendent, immanent, present, and personal God. It is through this good, sound theology of the "order of creation" that the Holy Spirit of God trains us in true and godly discernment, the ability to distinguish between the true and the false, the good and the bad, the temporal and the eternal, the earthly and the heavenly. I submit that just about every problem and disaster that individuals and nations experience stems from man's insistence on replacing God's "order of creation" with his own.It is my hope and prayer that the articles in this book contribute to the readers' understanding of the Abundant Life Jesus offers and will assist them in their journey toward a blessed life.

The U.S. Marine Corps is very proud of its history, tradition, and heritage. Every Marine is taught to be proud from the beginning of boot camp and this pride continues until they reach the gates of heaven. In Marine Corps recruit training, recruits are transformed into the world's most elite fighting force through 13 weeks of rigorous training. Recruits will acquire the knowledge, discipline, teamwork, and fitness level required of a Marine through physical training, classroom instruction, and combat skills.The author recounts how, in the 1950s, judges would give gang members a choice: join the Marines or go to jail. The impact of boot camp on the few gang members in our platoon demonstrated that those judges understood the transformative power of military discipline. In fact, the Marine Drill Instructors likely did more to turn gang members into productive citizens than a roomful of social workers ever could.Of all the military services, Marines hold a special place in the public conscience. This is reflected in the fact that when our nation is faced with a challenge or threat, the public response usually is "Send in the Marines," or when they are sent in, the usual response is, "The Marines have landed, and the situation is well in hand." In commenting on the Marines, President Reagan said, "Some people wonder all their lives if they have made a difference in the world. Marines don't have that problem." May it always remain so.In the addendum of this book, the author presents an extensive analysis of the all-volunteer Military Force, its beginning, its performance, its major problems, and its overall serious negative effects on the nation's society, culture, core values, and its questionable capability to deter and/or destroy our potential enemies today. A Call to Citizens to Wake up and Stand up This is a wake up call for what is happening to our country. It is time to stand up and reclaim the values and vision of our Founding Fathers.The Democratic Party today is far different from the Democratic Party of yesteryear. Although the Party has always had its dirty laundry, similar to any other political organization, today that dirty laundry has accentuated to an unprecedented degree.The radicalized wing of the Democratic Party has politically corrupted the Constitution through its rejection of bipartisanship and its emphasis on one-party rule, and on its approval of and emphasis on judiciary activism to achieve its political agenda. Furthermore, it has spiritually corrupted the Judeo-Christian foundation upon which our Founding Fathers built our nation, with its corruption of the three Sanctities - the Sanctity of Life, the Sanctity of Marriage, the Sanctity of Family - and its rejection of the Ten Commandments, which the Founding Fathers emphasized as the nation's moral code. How did the radicals sow such corruption? With the seeds of Secular Progressive Radical Liberalism and the code of Moral Relativism.
