A reverent jag of irreverence, tilting forward to arresting moments of beauty, astonishment, confusion, and grief, the poems in David Daniel's Ornaments find their myths in history and pop culture; they take their truths, but just as much their doubts, from the fallibility of what we remember and the desperation with which we struggle to assemble it. Surreal, lyrical, madcap, they bring a faith, above all, in poetry. Which means in people and their bewildered hearts.

Shift whistles at the soap factory and the shipyard, along with the changing tides, mark the rhythms of life in the beach town. This is a world of fast food, double dates, and Saturday morning haircuts at the barber shop-a world as seemingly uncomplicated as a summer night's ride on a carousel. A lonely girl from "away" seeks connection with high school classmates who give no notice; a harried salesman confronts his deepest fear; a middle-aged woman reckons with unfulfilled dreams; and a man returns for a class reunion and finds himself face to face with something beyond his imagining. In Beach Town, David Daniel recreates the seaside town of North Weybridge, recalling in stories poignant and sometimes mysterious, the loves and losses, the magic and hard realities of clam diggers, sailors, barmaids and disillusioned lovers, characters revealed in moments of crisis or enlightenment.

City of dead dreams is a crime fiction based on the oppression of the common man with a central message on cultism, violence, religion, poor governance, street governments, drug cartels, prostitution, gang wars, betrayal, alcoholism, love, lust, molestation, child labour, revolution, etc. The book has its setting in Calabar South, Nigeria, West Africa with a lot of surreal characters whose words and thoughts shaped this reality. Also, you can read through its prequel below;I witnessed it in the early 2000s, I was just a little boy in the neighbourhood, I witnessed them come into our homes every evening dressed in black ropes and carrying long guns to take all we had away from us and also take away every breathe of sanity left in us, we couldn't do nothing but weep for our helplessness as we took turns to wail over whose household got robbed, whose daughter got raped, whose son got mucked and whose mother got dropped. It was a terrible scenery for everyone of us, no one came up to save us, no one was there to help us, the elders were really scared to their knee to speak up whenever these things happened. I remember little Etebong Atakpa beating his chest and swearing to put an end to this unrest but he couldn't fall through, he died a week later of sickle cell anemia. Everyone mourned his death including his little cousin who died next, even though, it was barely 2 months he visited earth. The street chose us but some of us had mothers who swore to protect us, some of our mothers got raped in the process of resisting them from taking their sons away from them. Our fathers couldn't do much, most of them were cowards who sought succour from the bottle of alcohol. Young mothers in the city taught their daughters how to take in so much pain at a time at such a tender age by inserting "turner" of various shapes and sizes into their vagina just to get them ready for the day that the villains will take turns in defiling them. It was like these little girls were born ready to be defiled by detestable men who had no heart. We were young, really young at that time but we hated to look from the sideways and it felt like we were born to suffer when we couldn't do a thing about it. Every time we gathered at night, it wasn't for the moonlight tales, we were there to relate with each other on our state of helplessness. We had a lot of tears to give away, a lot of fakes smiles and hugs to go round as we held hands and reflected on the pains that was about to befall us like it usually does every night. We were young, bruised and torn but we were one

In White Tantric Yoga: 40 Days to Divinity, David Daniel chronicles his life-changing experience of doing White Tantric Yoga at Summer Solstice and the 40 days following the experience. In this honest daily account, David bears his soul revealing the challenges and the triumphs on his path to self-discovery as he encourages the reader to delve deeply into their own spiritual journey. It has been said there is no more transformative spiritual experience than White Tantric Yoga (WTY). White Tantric Yoga is an ancient group meditative practice where participants are lined up in diagonals to meditate as a group for almost eight hours which clears out the deepest corridors of the subconscious mind. One day of WTY is said to be as effective clearing out past emotional trauma as twenty years of ongoing therapy. Join David as he takes the reader deep inside the entire process and the 40 days following WTY as he attempts to purify his soul and set himself on a course with his destiny. White Tantric Yoga can be one of the most life altering experiences you will ever have. It builds your etheric energy to give you the ability to easily transcend the lessons of the earth by opening your intuition to give you an awareness to what your soul is currently working on and then the White Tantric Yoga energy can support you to release or heal your issues. It does this by working in the realm of the soul. David Daniel takes the reader through his personal spring cleaning of the soul while inspiring them to strive to become their greatest selves. Through the early days of questioning and struggling with his decision to do WTY to his eventual moment of triumph, David peels away the layers of his doubts and fears for all to see and finally comes to a place of reconciliation and salvation with himself. ***David Daniel is not affiliated in any manner with the 3HO Foundation or White Tantric Yoga.
