The Indestructible Book by Dr. David Brown is a very valuable tool for anyone interested in the modern debates over preservation, the Traditional Text, and the King James Bible. The greatest thing about this book is that it demonstrates clearly that we have an Indestructible Bible. It takes a lot of diligent study to "get up to speed" on the many points of controversy that are part of this discussion. This book is a great head start on understanding these issues because of Dr. Brown's knowledge and insight into them and by the way the material is presented. David L. Brown was a greenhorn mountain man who would join Jim Bridger's fur trapping brigade. Brown's short 20-page 1845 vivid narrative titled "Three Years in the Rocky Mountains," describes events during a sojourn with the William Drummond Stewart trapping party in 1836-39, and it was first published in the September 8-13, 1845 editions of the Cincinnati Daily Morning Atlas. Seeking adventure, Brown joined Sir William Drummond Stewart, 7th Baronet, a Scottish adventurer and British military officer near Leavenworth Kansas in 1836, where they arranged to accompany a pack train to the rendezvous of mountain men at the Horse Creek Rendezvous in the Green River Valley of Wyoming. Here Brown met the famous mountain men Jim Bridger, Bill Williams, and Kit Carson. Also on this trip was, as noted by Brown, was American artist, Alfred Jacob Miller, whom Stewart had hired in New Orleans. On this trip Miller would paint a notable series of works on the mountain men, the rendezvous, American Indians, and Rocky Mountain scenes. Brown spends much of his book describing the mountain men which he met at Green River, including veteran mountain man Jim Bridger, Bill Williams, and Joe Meek. Brown notes that "individuals, who having once tasted the sweets of this roving and adventurous life, on returning to the haunts of civilization...have languished and pined after those irresponsible solitude where man...revels in the untrammeled liberty, of a fierce and all but animal existence."

Children are often required to write reports on witchcraft. There are public schools that have even brought in witches to tell about their "wonderful, wholesome" religion. In the public schools, witchcraft is "IN" and Christianity is "OUT." The 1526 Tyndale New Testament is a reprint from the "Rare Book Archive" of Dr. David L. Brown's Biblical Heritage Archive Collection. William Tyndale (1492? - 1536) played a monumental role in the establishment of the Authorized Version of 1611 (i.e., King James Bible). He was the first to translate Erasmus's Greek New Testament (NT) into English and then provided the world with the first printed English NT. He stands as the greatest of all English biblical scholars. While his first edition NT was published in 1526, his second revised and corrected NT was published in 1534, two years before he was martyred. Tyndale also completed the Hebrew-to-English translation for 15 of 39 books in the Old Testament, including the Pentateuch. Tyndale published the first edition of his English New Testament in 1526. Only two full copies have survived, both pocket size. It is believed there were 3,000 printed in Worms by Peter Schoeffer. The British Library bought the copy owned by Bristol Baptist College for 1 million pounds, declaring Tyndale's New Testament as "the most important printed book in the English language." The second complete copy of Tyndale's 1526 New Testament was discovered in November of 1996 at the Wurttembergische Landesbibliothek (a state library) in Stuttgart, Germany. This German copy has a title page, which is missing in the British library copy. Apparently, the German library's director, Eberhard Zwink, was overseeing the library data transfer from hand-written hard copy records to computerized records. During this transition process, Zwink realized that one of the library's holdings was actually a 1526 New Testament by Tyndale. Taken together, several research studies indicate that 83% - 90% of the King James Bible (1611, Authorized Version) can be traced to Tyndale's English translation work; specific findings suggest that 83% of the NT and 76% of the OT in the King James Bible is Tyndale's translation (The Bible in English by David Daniell, Yale University Press; The King James Version Defended by Edward Hills, Christian Research Press).Within his small New Testament are words and phrases which have gone on to influence the world, and continue to do so today. A surprising number of Tyndale's phrases are still in common use today, including: 'under the sun', 'eat, drink and be merry', 'signs of the times', 'the salt of the earth', 'let there be light', 'my brother's keeper', 'lick the dust', 'fall flat on his face', 'the land of the living', 'pour out one's heart', 'the apple of his eye', 'fleshpots', 'go the extra mile', 'the parting of the ways', broken-hearted', 'flowing with milk and honey'.

"Gaslighting" is used to describe abusive behavior, specifically when an abuser manipulates information in such a way as to make a victim question his or her sanity. Gaslighting intentionally makes someone doubt their memories or perception of reality.The term Gaslighting originates in the systematic psychological manipulation of a victim by her husband in Patrick Hamilton's 1938 stage play Gaslight, and the film adaptations released in 1940 and 1944. In the story, the husband attempts to convince his wife and others that she is insane by manipulating small elements of their environment and insisting that she is mistaken, remembering things incorrectly, or delusional when she points out these changes. The play's title alludes to how the abusive husband slowly dims the gas lights in their home, while pretending nothing has changed, in an effort to make his wife doubt her own perceptions. The wife repeatedly asks her husband to confirm her perceptions about the dimming lights, but in defiance of reality, he keeps insisting that the lights are the same and instead it is she who is going insane.

Socialism is any of various economic and political theories advocating collective or governmental ownership and administration of the means of production and distribution of goods or a system of society in which there is no private property. There are three aspects of socialism described by Dr. Brown in this treatise which are contrary to Biblical principles. Socialism is based upon a materialistic world view alone. It penalizes diligence, sanctions stealing, and promotes envy.Marxism/Socialism is a system that calls for the redistribution of wealth.
