The September Alliance terrorists used violence like a surgeon's scalpel, forcing immoral corporations to comply with their demands. Riding the crest of victory, the Supreme Command ceases fire and attempts to enter the mainstream political process, but soon, copycat attacks rock the far flung hamlets and towns of the Great Plains. Puzzled by the attacks, alarmed by their use of Alliance methods and symbols, and wary of impending legislation to curb civil liberties, the Supremos send Nicky Pops, their best and brightest operative to investigate. His mission: Stop the copycats.

For years the anti-corporate vigilantes called the September Alliance have been operating in the cloak of the general population. Targeting abusive corporations, they've avenged layoffs, defended the environment, and killed men who raided pensions. Branded as terrorists by the media, they proudly bear that name, and vow to bring even more terror to the boardrooms and trading floors of the Empire. Contemptuous of the police, believing justice and the law to be separate, and ready to use violence on a personal level, their vendetta against corporate evildoers struggles without major effect. In desperation, they turn to Pixie, their petite but not so sweet operative in River Valley to recruit someone who will reenergize their quest for justice. Pixie does what no one expects, and seeks out not a radical idealist, but a shy misfit. She seduces a naive, trusting college student named Nicholas Papadopoulos and turns him loose as the most prolific killer the Alliance has ever seen...Nicky Pops

The September Alliance has rearmed and regrouped. With a wind of publicity at their backs, the militant, anti-corporate vigilantes set their sights on Val-Mart, the retail giant whose policies are synonymous with the word abuse. In their twenty-third communique, the September Alliance issues a stark warning to the retail behemoth. Stop using child labor, stop degrading the environment, stop abusing your workforce, stop busting unions, stop breaking suppliers, stop forcing companies to offshore, or face the consequences. Backed by police assurances and bank accounts overflowing with billions, the corporation arrogantly turns away from the missive, leaving the September Alliance to make good on their threats. Bombs are made, plans are laid, and the invisible army called to arms. Rifles are loaded, reinforcements deployed, and computers hacked, but to bring Val-Mart to its knees, the September Alliance will need to deploy the deadliest weapon in their arsenal ! !
