This book is about various Spiritual gifts, primarily about the nine listed in 1 Corinthisns 12. Since the early 20th century move of God known as the Azusa Street Revival, there has been a great deal of study and writing about the gifts of the Holy Spirit. Since that time, vast numbers of people have received the "blessing of Pentecost", or the baptism with the Holy Spirit. There is a continual stream of new believers and new recipients of the Holy Spirit baptism who need to be taught. The author's goal is to explain the gifts of the Spirit, what they are, how they work and how they operate together.

Proverbs 4:7 says, "With all your getting, get understanding". God is the Architect of our lives but also our Great Shepherd. So many people cry out for understanding concerning the things of God. The believer is given the right, the capacity and the means to understand these things. He promises us insight in order to walk with Him and to see His plan fulfilled in your life. This book is about the eyes of your understanding and your source of Godly knowledge and insight.

The New Testament has many verses that feature the phrases "IN HIM", "IN CHRIST", "IN THE BELOVED", and so on. There are also many that, while not containing one of these specific phrases but still tell you what you have and what you can do because you are "IN CHRIST". This book contains 186 of these scripture passages, in five Bible Translations, for clarity and comparison. Philemon 1:6 says that the communication of our faith is made effectual by acknowledging every good thing that is in us, IN CHRIST. I suggest that you read these passages and meditate on them daily. Realize that God wants you to know these things.

Every person who is born again by faith in Jesus Christ, has the Holy Spirit living in him or her. However, the Bible teaches a separate experience we call "receiving the Holy Spirit", or more accurately, the "Baptism in the Holy Spirit". This is a lesson about receiving this Baptism in the Holy Spirit, in the Scriptural way, with the Scriptural evidence.

This book consists of the two New Testament letters that Luke wrote to Theophilus: "The Gospel According to St. Luke" and "Acts". They are presented in the King James Version, except that chapter and verse numbers are removed and the text appears in paragraph form. This is done in order to make the words more fluid for the sake of reading. When we see the chapter and verse numbers to which we are accustomed to following in the Bible, it is easy to break down or fragment some of the thoughts. This is the reason I have put them together in this way. I have not changed any of the words. I am presenting them to you exactly as you will find them in your King James Bible, except of course without the numbers that were added by translators. I have made paragraph indentations where the chapters were numbered. Nothing else is altered.. These books of the New Testament, inspired by the Holy Ghost and penned by Luke, are here presented as letters.

From the creation of man until the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus and until now, God has never intended us to see living for Him as adherence to rules and regulations. How many people have you known who undertake as much church related activities as possible, in effort to please the Lord? Yet Hebrews 11:6 says that without FAITH, it's impossible to please Him. Most assuredly, living for God involves activity but our faith is in Him. We are His children, born of His Spirit and empowered to serve because of HIS life in us. Romans 7:6 says that we serve, not in the oldness of the letter (or by written rules) but in the "newness of the Spirit". This is the essence of the New Covenant in the Blood of Jesus - the Father and His family. Hebrews 10:16 This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them;This is the New Covenant that was foretold by the prophet Jeremiah (Jeremiah 31:33). How difficult it must have been at that time to understand how this could happen - God's law written on our hearts and in our minds. This is the "life in the Spirit" that was foretold and is now revealed. This book brings you, in paragraph version, without chapter and verse numbers, sections of the New Testament that tell us about this new life.

Church isn't a place we go. It's who we are. God doesn't dwell in buildings with a street address or "temples made with hands". In 1 Corinthians 3:16, the Apostle Paul, by inspiration of the Holy Spirit, wrote, "Don't you know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?" We are all members of one supernatural body, with Christ as the Head. The present day ministry of this supernatural body, empowered by the Holy Spirit, is the subject of this book.

If you are a born again believer in Jesus Christ, you have the Spirit of God - the very life of God in you. The Apostle Paul called this "Christ in you, the hope of glory." God's Word and the movement of His Spirit are combining in greater measure to reach the end time harvest of souls. We bear the testimony of Jesus. We must learn to accurately follow the Word of God and cooperate with the prophetic life that is in us to fill our own place in the work of the ministry. That is the subject of this book.

Throughout the pages of the Bible we find the word "patience". Patience is the topic of many of our conversations. It is often misunderstood, religion-ized and misinterpreted, but patience is vital to walking with God, living for God and receiving from God because walking with God, pleasing Him and living for Him, all require faith and the Bible teaches that for your life of faith to bear fruit, patience is a MUST. In this little book, I want to glorify the Lord and to share with you what He has shown me about what Bible patience is and how it works.
