Living on his River Thames houseboat in London, Josh rises one morning to learn that his neighbour has gone missing - apparently the victim of an attack by an MDP (Mobile Deceased Person). Josh volunteers to assist the police and authorities in studying the impact of this new virus - something that gives life to the dead. Attending crime scenes and monitoring MDP activity, he begins to fear that the MDPs are becoming 'self-aware'...even organised.Soon the evidence (corroborated by a mysterious blog) is overwhelming and Josh's fears about the undead are realised.
