After receiving a very special pair of sparkly red shoes, Mia comes to believe they possess magical powers. So when she grows out of her ruby red slippers, she puts them on a shelf where they can be admired from afar. But she soon realizes their enchantment comes from wearing them. Struggling with a desire to keep her beloved shoes, she ultimately decides to gift them to a friend-only to discover the magic of her ruby red slippers lives on through her act of giving.
