A short, highly engaging panoramic view of three major events in the shared history of Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples of Canada: the residential school era, the sixties scoop, and the present. Written in a fictional format from one woman's point of view, Bannock and Sweet Tea personalizes these major events, and creates a bridge of understanding for those to whom these events are unfamiliar.
