Rarely mentioned among the atrocities of World War II is the Vertreibungen when German citizens were targeted for expulsion from their native lands. Ditchen's Story is one woman's memoir, telling her passage from terror to salvation. Her journey takes her from her small village in Danzig to West Germany to America.
