Eileen L Tapper, has written such a beautiful book about PDA, without talking directly about PDA (Pathological Demand Avoidance / Persistent Drive for Autonomy), which is an autistic profile. This makes the message more accessible for so many readers of all ages. The story, 'My Daughter the Wolf, ' is about honoring one's uniqueness, recognizing the strengths, and noting the challenges of living in a world not designed for those with differences. Through the words and amazing illustrations, the need for nervous system safety is hi highlighted and that is the most important message of all.
