If you had a superpower, what would it be? Would you use it for good, or would you use it for revenge? When Colomba and Luis began their first day of high school, they didn't expect to be given superpowers in the form of magical pins. Whenever Colomba uses her magical pin, she transforms into the superhero Silver Dove. She has super strength, she can fly, and she can't get hurt. When Luis uses his pin, he becomes the Crow; he has the power to create shadow- like monsters whenever he wants, he can fly, and he can give other people super powers. Colomba wants to use her powers to protect people from evil, but Luis isn't sure. Should he use his powers to make the world a better place, or should he use them to get revenge on all of the bullies in his school who pick on everyone, including him?
Fate has been decided. Colomba and Luis have decided how they will use their powers. Colomba will use hers to defend the innocent while Luis will use his to give bullied kids the vengeance he feels they deserve. Luis is determined to reach his goal. There is only one problem though, who will be the first to receive his "gift" of superpowers? As he is trying to find this person, he and Colomba are introduced to the incredibly shy Jade Elizabeth. She is picked on constantly, but never says a word. Could Luis have found his first soldier? Or will Jade Elizabeth refuse the temptation of the power he can give her?
Horror and misery follows Colomba in her dreams as nightmares of the Crow haunt her every time she closes her eyes. No matter what she tries to do, the monsters in her nightmares chase her, not letting her get any rest. As this is happening, the entire school is excited since one of their sports teams, the girl's track team, will be going to nationals thanks to their star player Cheyanne. An accident sends the entire school into shock and what follows brings Cheyanne from the top of the school popularity pyramid all the way down to be crushed at the bottom. There she may fall into the waiting arms of the Crow.
High School Rivalry reaches a new highFriendships are threatenedThere's a new villain in townLuis and Alex have always hated each other, but now their hatred has reached a boiling point. The school is excited about a big football game that's coming up, and everyone knows that Alex will be the star of the game. Luis is frustrated seeing everyone treat Alex like a hero when he knows that Alex really is a villain. What makes it worse is that Alex seems to be getting closer to Colomba as well. Maybe Luis just needs to show the world what Alex really is.
Halloween is here and everyone in the spirit, all except a boy named Rick.Rick has an anxiety disorder that causes him to have panic attacks when he is nervous or afraid, something that the other students like to make happen. They frighten him to cause these attacks, which Luis has noticed. He sees the pain that Rick is in and decides that he could use a little assistance from the Crow. As the Crow sees it, they like making Rick afraid.But it is Halloween, it's Rick's turn to make everyone else afraid.
A cold wind falls over Drew's Hollow, and it seems to chill the hearts of those in the school.As Luis and Colomba struggle with who they are as the Crow and Silver Dove, a young man named Andre struggles with dealing with the other students in his class. They make fun of him for being poor and not being able to afford any of the things he wants in life, a pain that Luis understands. Alex takes great pleasure in seeing Andre and Luis suffer with this pain, but Luis is eager to let everyone else feel what he and Andre have been suffering with their entire lives.Will Andre give in and let the world suffer with him? Or will he decide to show mercy?
The Crow and Silver Dove have had many battles, but Colomba believes that she may have a plan to stop it.When the Crow comes back, she will talk to him, not as Silver Dove, but as herself. As Colomba, she hopes that she can convince the Crow to stop with his plans.The Crow though may not need to be stopped. Luis is thinking that maybe he should stop with his plan and join up with Silver Dove. Something may get in the way of his plan though; a young man who is getting hurt because he is smarter than everyone else in the school.A real Genius.
Colomba is in high spirits, since she believes that the Crow will no longer be a problem for her as Silver Dove.Luis has other plans though. He believes that he finally has a way to defeat Silver Dove once and for all. The only thing he needs is one more person to act as his soldier, one more person to act as his pawn. He may have just found that person in a girl named Kaley.Will she be tempted like all the rest, or will she resist the power he can give her?
Things seem to be going well for Colomba and Luis now that they know who they really are. They decided to work together and try to fix everything that the Crow has done. Even though the problems with the Crow are over, something else comes into their lives to cause trouble.Is this new hero they've met a friend or foe?They just have to wait and see.
The pack has gone through a lot together and defeated many enemies, but this time the threat is different. This time, the threat lies within. Someone within the pack means to end them, forging an alliance with an enemy that can bring misery and destruction to not just them, but to the town they have dedicated their lives to protecting. While this is going on, Jake and Alba are learning more about each other as a couple. Alba is learning what it is like to be loved while Jake is learning more about Alba's past and current condition, her struggles, and her issues involving her emotions and relationships with her family as well as him. She doesn't understand what she feels for him and Jake knows this, creating conflict between them that their relationship may not be able to withstand.
