What happens if you wake one morning and your entire life has changed forever? Maddie wakes to find her husband vanished during the night. What can she do? What should she do? As she searches for answers odd things start to happen and then, as she comes off a long shift caring for babies in the hospital, she is threatened by a strange man in the dark. He wants what her husband took from him and he threatens Maddie's life if he doesn't get it. But she has no idea what it is Maddie turns to her brother's friend, the detective, for help. Their search takes them across state lines and back and they discover the answers lie unbelievably close to home. The question is: Will they survive the search for truth?
