2 Chronicles 7:14 King James Version (KJV)If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.We are going to explore this very verse in seeking to understand prayer but our focus will be on prayer and the power of prayer. Let's review these four steps to cleansing: Humb-ling, Praying, Seeking and Turning. We can do all these things by His grace. God is the source of revival and life. This is a fact. We are not saying that the whole revival pro-cess is in our hands. The revival process starts with God.Yes, truth is lacking; And he who turns aside from evil makes himself a prey. Now the LORD saw, And it was displeasing in His sight that there was no justice. And He saw that there was no man, And was asto-nished that there was no one to intercede; Then His own arm brought salvation to Him; And His righteousness upheld Him. Isaiah 59:15,16, .Revival is in essence a bringing of new life to His wayward people. We, however, must understand that God already has done His part. Jesus Christ, His Servant, has already died, come alive and ascended above. He has already sent His Holy Spirit to work among His people. He has even told us how His Spirit would work among His people (2). God has already done His part Now we need to respond. The whole condition that 2 Chronicles 7:13-14 is formed around is established upon God's promise.Now it is time for God's people to act

Molding Christ-like character is the most important element in a person's life that determines the trajectory of their talents and influence.Man's character is his fate. Be more concerned with your character than your reputation, because your character is what you really are, while your reputation is merely what others think you are.One of the most important aspects of godly character is humility. God emphasizes it more than any other character trait in the Scriptures, except love. It is the most underrated trait but perhaps the greatest indicator of how far a person will go in life.

"I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character." A phrase from the most celebrated speech by American civil rights activist Martin Luther King Jr., delivered at a large rally in Washington, D.C., for Jobs and Freedom on August 28, 1963, in which he called for civil and economic rights and an end to racism in the United States to supporters of the civil rights movement. King stressed the importance of nonviolent resistance and vividly painted his vision of a better future for people of all colors in the United States.We are talking about Joseph's dream in this book. The exposition contains Joseph's' beginnings as a dreamer; this leads him into trouble as, out of jealousy, his brothers sell him into slavery to desert merchants, who took him to Egypt. There he is made the servant of a wealthy Egyptian who misunderstands him, and has him thrown into prison. Where he shows his God-given gift by interpreting the dreams of two other prisoners. Eventually, Pharaoh begins to be plagued by dreams, and sends for Joseph, who interprets them and saves Egypt in the process. He is made second in command to Pharaoh, and has most of Egypt's grain stored. Eventually his brothers arrive in Egypt to buy food because of famine, and he must forgive them. Then the dreams that had angered his brothers, were in reality prophecies that had come from God.Don't give up on your dreams, "vision is for an appointed time, though it tarries, wait for it, it must surely come to pass". The enemy did all to abort the dreams of Joseph but he ended up being used by God to fulfil the dreams. Martin Luther had a dream and he was killed because of his dream. 40 years later, Barack Obama a black man was sworn into the white house as the 44th president of the United States of America. Alas The dream came to pass. Who can ever believe that a black man will rule in the white house, a man had a dream and it came to pass. I dare you to dream, it must surely come to pass.
