H. F. Beaumont's newest novel digs deep into one's emotions. The chief's teenaged daughter falls in love with a local non-tribal residence named Jameson Brown. This relationship was frowned upon by not only the tribe but the local community outside of the reservation. During a brush-clearing operation just west of the Stockdale residence, the earthmoving machinery unearthed a human skeleton. The police were called to the job site.
