English summary: The Book of Jonah clearly stands out from the canonical context of the Minor Prophets: it is the only text that consists exclusively of the prophet's tale, with an interspersed psalm. In contrast to the other books, Jonah's mission and the message he delivers take up only a fraction of the ensemble. Irmtraud Fischer understands the Book of Jonah not as a satire in which a disobedient prophet is taught a lesson by a merciful God, but as "trauma literature." The interpretation of the narrative as an attempt to come to terms with a collective trauma and the postcolonial approach of understanding biblical texts from the point of view of the conquered and oppressed result a completely new interpretation of the Book of Jonah. English summary: The Bible, and the Old Testament in particular, has often been used to justify unequal gender relations, restrictive sexual morality, and the prohibition of same-sex relationships. In an easy-to-read form that nevertheless stays close to the text, this book presents the Hebrew Bible=s many statements about sexuality: from the creation narratives to legal regulations of sexuality, love songs that fill an entire book, and descriptions of the happiness and travails of sexual relationships, through to unbearable texts about sexual violence that present even God as an accomplice. In the face of recent appalling cases of abuse, readers are enabled to articulate and discover the dimensions of meaning that lie in biblical texts for societies in which gender democracy exists. In diesem Band werden samtliche alttestamentlichen Texte, die Frauen als Subjekte der Prophetie vorstellen, ausfuhrlich besprochen. Die Sichtweise der Prophetie in der Tora und im sog. deuteronomistischen Geschichtswerk wird vorgestellt. So treten die Erzahlungen von Mirjam, Hulda, Debora und die Frau von En Dor vor dem Hintergrund des Prophetiegesetzes des Buches Deuteronomium mit uberraschenden Perspektiven hervor. Die bisher wenig beachteten Notizen uber Prophetinnen wie Noadja, die Frau, zu der Jesaja geht, die prophetisch redenden Tochter im Ezechielbuch oder die am Eingang des Offenbarungszeltes Dienst tuenden Frauen werden durch den genderfairen Forschungsansatz neu ausgeleuchtet. Abschlieaend wird das Phanomen der Prophetie in seiner theologischen Bedeutung fur den gesamten Kanon herausgearbeitet.
