In Search of Our Origins, presents complex but interesting information on the origin of life and man.The 119 hints/pointers, extracted from the analysis of the original words of the Quran, seem to tell us how the first molecule of life arose on the planet, what was the mechanism involved, where the event occurred on the primeval earth, and what did happen subsequently. The pointers then tell us how the life is linked to man, how the first man and his mate were created, where they were nurtured initially, and when and where did they appear on the earth. The research also discusses entities like Jinn and malaika (angels), and the concept of Paradise with respect to Adam, within the parameters of the Quran and modern physics.Akhtar argues that the phenomenon of revelations is extraterrestrial, and presents a mechanism for verification of the information that has the potential to permanently lay at rest the debate between creationists and evolutionists.

Combining epistemological study with scientific research, hundreds of hints from the Quran are presented that collectively outline the image of a Super String based cyclic Universe, teeming with 'life and Intelligence' at differentlevels of maturity, and unfolding according to an ultimate 'mother of all programs. The revelations seem to reveal the existence of traversable wormholes with multiple paths in the Universe, and a dynamic mechanism for administration of the universe. The concept of Creator, emerging from the literal translation of verses, covers not only this universe, but many more such universes, spread over levels upon levels of existence and perception. The most interesting aspect of this research is the identification of physical locations of Hell and Paradise, from the literal interpretation of verses. The revelations also reveal the existence of a 'Federation of Intellects' in the universe, who are monitoring us for a long time. The research, thus, not only resolves the Fermi's Paradox, but also presents an assessment of their technological capability as per Kardeshev scale and explains the difference between the fictional universe of Star Trek and our real universe. The research also asserts that man will outlive his planet of origin, surviving long in the universe; and resolves several difficulties in the standard model of scientists. The information presented is extensive; and its epistemological basis, transparent and consistent. Investigation and corroboration of hints, through a panel of experts, is likely to change our future in a way that would be beyond any science fiction author's dream.
