God wants to remove our shame and clothe us with His strength and dignity. He is saying you have great self-worth, because I created you in the image of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. I don't believe we will arrive at perfection on this side of heaven, but we are being changed into more of His likeness here on earth. We can have an amazing intimate relationship with the Lord, and with our spouse, filled with passion, mutual love and admiration. Our children can grow and mature in the love of a parent who is whole and strong. They never have to repeat what we have endured and come through. What joy and redemption the Father brought to our family We can prosper in our emotions and walk in good health. Jesus has made every provision we need to live an abundant life Let's choose life today. I call heaven and earth to witness against you today, that I have set before you life and death, the blessing and the curse. So choose life in order that you may live, you and your descendants. Deuteronomy 30:19

Little Jesus in the Tabernacle is a work of fiction loosely based on a period of time in the author's young life when she was being sexually abused by an older brother. This book was birthed from an encounter she had with Holy Spirit. He brought a vivid memory to the surface of her when she attended Catholic Mass. She would imagine a Little Jesus sitting in the tabernacle on the altar.He showed her through this memory how she experienced a sense of safety and peace through the Communion and Mass. The fictional part of the story follows the character of eight-year-old Maria Christina through her confusion of the abuse and finding solace in talking to the Little Jesus in the tabernacle. It is a beautiful story of redemption and healing.

I had a detailed dream in August of 2000. It was a special idea for a children's book. A series of books called Simple Books-that explain spiritual truths. They are on a pre-school level of understanding. They are to be read by the parent to the child. There is a parent page in each book explaining the spiritual truth meant to be imparted to your child. The first book was written in 2000, but it wasn't until 2007 that I had our youngest daughter Rebekah Mosselman illustrate it.I am so excited about getting these biblical truths to as many parents as I can. There are many spiritual truths in the Bible, so I hope to write many more of these little books.I have precious memories of sitting with a toddler on one leg and baby on the other reading Bible stories to them. In 1986, I received a mandate from the Lord to teach my children the Word of God. I set out to do this the best I knew how. I see these Simple Books as a tool to help moms and dads teach their preschoolers about Jesus and His kingdom.
