Kirjahaku

after watching several people close to me suffer through disease, some successfully, some not, i began to think about diseases: how we fight them, how we don't, alone and together. above all, this is a poem about working through what life has to offer us, good and bad, and the reasons we do it.

The Emerald Notebook contains one page poems, each titled by the day in which it was written. it is a journal of sorts, truthful parts of my life and mind. little editing was done to these poems, so they are truly rough jewels i hope you will see beauty in.
