Imminent Demise is a modern-day novel set in a small, fictional Ohio city. It is a love story about two young people who meet in a garden and are propelled into an unexpected sequence of events involving murder, deception, and a deepening love that binds them in an unbreakable relationship. This is not a story of super heroes using their super powers to eradicate evil, but one where an ordinary man falls in love with a beautiful girl with an uncommon spirit and an unhealthy connection with another man full of jealousy and egotism. The story takes many twists and turns and is the author's attempt at an old-fashioned novel about regular, every-day people who fight for each other within the context of a realistic setting of a normal American situation.
And Another Door Opens is a compilation of poetry, prose, and songs that I have written over the last fifty-two years. The work covers a wide variety of subjects, including love, family, the natural world, and my innermost thoughts, dreams, and concerns. It is illustrated with images of many of my paintings and drawings done over that same span of time.

In grammar school, I hopped around like a frog to get attention. Consequently, my nickname became Frog, and after sixty-five years, some people still call me that. I became an artist just like Tod the Tadpole did. So one early morning, it came to me that this might be a good story line for a childrens book. So I told the entire tale to my wife. She seemed to enjoy it, so I decided to do this little book. It is my hope that everyone will get a kick out of the story of Tod and that the children who read it and those who have someone read it to them will be encouraged to do their very best in all the endeavors of their lives.
