Johannah Katz is a Masters candidate in nutrition and dietetics, at the time this book was published, and a mom of two young children. She was inspired by her personal experience with picky eaters, combined with her professional training and research, to develop a story to encourage children to explore the benefits and the fun of colorful foods. She is passionate about healthy nutrition, especially for our youth. She hopes parents will use this book as a tool to broaden the palates of little readers.
