This is a book about bullying. Timid Tim is being bullied by Big Bad Bruce and one day on his way to school Tim finds a Bright Red Toolbox which gives him the tools to fix his problems. Word soon spreads about his success, and other bullying victims also have their problems solved. This excellent little book written by John O'Shea and illustrated by Stephen Stanley is aimed at students aged 10 to 14, their teachers and parents to help stamp out bullying.

This is a sequel to my first anti-bullying book, TIMID TIM AND THE BRIGHT RED TOOLBOX. Tim becomes a teenager, starting High School. The anti-bullying theme continues while also addressing racism and victimisation issues. Tim makes friends with indigenous boy, Clever Clive and they are both intimidated by Slippery Sam and his bully mates. With references to Eddie Betts and the Carlton Football Club, the Bright Red Toolbox comes to their rescue.

A hurricane roars up, headed straight for Nantucket Island. That's where James O'Neill, struggling hedge fund manager, is trying to put his life back together. Luckily, before the storm strikes, James is able to get his 12 son Danny on the last outward-bound ferry-but he can't find his aging father. As the hurricane ravages the island, James searches for his elderly dad. He encounters mysterious men throughout the quaint town. After he spots two of them cruising offshore in his friend's boat, he gives chase along the north shore. When they seize the island's airport, James intercedes and realizes he is up against a foreign threat on American soil. He races across Nantucket to stop the remaining crew before they execute their plans, the effects of which could devastate the entire coast. Meanwhile, an explosion has ripped apart Danny's ship and strands the young boy amid the raging seas. New Mexico firefighter and former Naval Intelligence Officer Rye Kelleher is hunting his wife's killers. He captures one of them, Nam Sol, and forces him to confess what he knows about his accomplice, Thrace Sidion. Sol, a physicist, claims to have uncovered a rip in time. Sol passed through that rip to a Canadian prison in the future and unintentionally brought back the psychotic killer Thrace.
