Scotland's Track and Field Olympians
This book identifies and describes the performances of Scottish track and field athletes who competed in the Olympic Games between 1896 and 1980. This includes Scots, men and women, or Scots, or descendants of Scots, who had emigrated from Scotland, and who took part in Olympic track and field athletics, albeit representing nations other than Great Britain. In addition, there are Appendices covering representation of Scottish-qualified participants and various aspects of performances for the whole period of the Games up to and including the Games in Rio de Janeiro in 2016. This is a ground-breaking book, dealing with Scottish national participation in Olympic track and field events from their inception for the first time.

This is an exposition of the Biblical Book of Esther in the Old Testament. It brings out the struggles of the Jews who remained in captivity in a foreign land away from their own land and culture and religion. Whilst the name of God is not found in the Book of Esther, nonetheless it is a study of God's Providence in preserving His people despite their compromises in the cultural and religious situation they experienced in exile.

This is a brief biographical sketch of one of the great leaders of the Scottish Presbyterian Church. Thomas Chalmers (1780-1847) became an outstanding evangelical preacher in the first half of the 19th century. Besides this he was an able mathematician, scientist, social reformer, moral philosopher and theologian. He was a leader of the evangelicals in the years leading up to the 'Disruption' of 1843 when about a third of the ministers and people of the Church of Scotland left the National Church to form the Free Church of Scotland. Previously the Professor of Divinity in Edinburgh University (1828-1843), he became Professor in Theology in the Free Church College up to his passing in 1847. A man of great erudition and piety, his memory should be kept alive as one of the godly 'cloud of witnesses' who call every generation to follow Jesus Christ as they have done in their day.

It also provides details of his family background, war-time experiences, subsequent family life and immigration to South Africa in the 1930s. K. G. Macleod was inducted to the Scottish Sports Hall of Fame in 2010. He is considered one of Scotland's greatest ever rugby players and sporting all-rounders.

A Divided Church is an account of the division that took place in the Free Church of Scotland, a conservative evangelical and reformed church, in the year 2000. The story is told of events that led to the division and the perceived inadequacies of procedures in church and state which impacted upon events leading up to the division. The book is written from the perspective of the Free Church of Scotland (Continuing), the smaller part of the divided Church. It is a story that requires to be told and it is written with care and conciseness by the lecturer in Church History and Church Principles at the Seminary of the Free Church of Scotland (Continuing).
The Church - Its Nature, Ordinances and Offices
This book covers most aspects of the Christian Church as an institution, in its nature, government, worship, sacraments and offices. It is written from a perspective which is both Reformed and Presbyterian. The study is designed to be informative and of practical help to all Church office-bearers and to those who may enquire as to the nature and functions of a Christian Church as an institution for the public worship of God and the advance of the gospel of God's grace.

This is the story of the Free Church of Scotland in the 20th Century. It outlines the life and witness of the Church throughout the century dealing with some of the issues which faced the Church in that period. A companion volume entitled 'A Divided Church', provides an account of the division which occurred in the Free Church of Scotland in 2000, a division that led to the emergence of the Free Church of Scotland (Continuing). This is not an exhaustive history, nor is it an 'official' one. It is in the nature of 'Aspects of the History of the Free Church of Scotland in the 20th Century.' The Free Church itself reflected a confessional evangelical and reformed position throughout the century, though not without testing times, not least right at the end of the century.
