A tale set in a near future Canada where the world is teetering on the edge of true futurism. Amidst this transforming time is the unimpressed and rather bored Benjamin: a drug dealer whos new home is infested with spiders. Follow Benjamin as he navigates this modern world and has the merit of his beliefs tested by reality.

Yodelling for Mars presents a strange hodgepodge of original stories arranged in an overarching manner. Each story represents an aspect of an abstract model for experiencing grief and bereavement. The title is a reference to an essay written by author Josh Perry, which stated, "Sometimes, the process of loss itself may feel as hopeless as yodelling at Mars for an Internet connection." These stories are self-contained narratives representing a larger part of the collection.

Occasionally, we may find ourselves convinced that a story has finally ended. The curtains close, everyone goes home; and the night which follows swallows up any loose ends. Upon Rion five hundred years of the same war have passed. At the very end of that war; is the start of a true adventure. Bell believes his place in the world is withering away. He cannot fathom how incorrect he is.

In the peace following the conclusion of a five hundred year war. An existential threat creeps. Heroes in the new age, a one armed Queen and an order of those devoted to unilateral safety will be confronted by the end of all that is. Individuals fight against inevitability, the ambiguity of reality and the horror of an oncoming end. The Scorned Season beckons and devastation looms in the void of silent space.

In a near-future world advanced technology has eliminated the need for human labor. Universal basic income has allowed the human race the ability to stop working and live a life entirely of their own determination. For many, this means spending huge amounts of time in dedicated virtual realities. When an existential event changes the nature of reality, a dedicated group of players navigate a new set of rules to pursue the path of true heroes. Just like the ones in the video games they have always admired.
