This read-aloud picture book will appeal to children ages three to six, and provides enjoyment to both the child and the reader through the rhyming poetry. It tells the story of a little cricket, Suzette, who is an exceptional singer, born into the singing Crick-ette' family. At the urging of her neighbors she tries out to sing with the Full Moon Orchestra. Guitar playing Gus Grasshopper loudly objects to her "chirping", but the Maestro says "Bravo " She gets a chance to sing with the orchestra. She performs with some accomplished musicians, Chip the Munk and Liddy Ladybug, but it's Suzette who steals the show.
