Unlike most capybaras living in Lake Vicente, Katchachup (Catch-A-Chew-Pay) doesn't fit the conventional mold. Timid and clumsy, he would rather find a nice spot in the shade to read an adventure book and daydream about faraway lands, than horseplay in the lake with his brothers and sisters all day. After finding a discarded magazine advertisement which depicts a Christmas scene in New York City, Katchy becomes fixated on the holiday and believes it's his calling to find out what this unfamiliar, yet intoxicating concept is. An ambitious task for the world's largest jungle-dwelling rodent. Katchachup 's journey brings him closer to achieving his goal, but it's not without pitfalls. Christmas is in a few days and relying on help from other animals sometimes places him directly in harm's way. During this grand adventure, he will meet a majestic Jaguar King in Mexico and soar high above the American South with the United States Air Force's Rocketeer Ducks, as well as find the girl of his dreams. Join him as he navigates through unfamiliar territory and not only finds the meaning of Christmas, but also finds himself.
