The Sproutlings go on a Sprouts School Geography trip to Budleaves Farm where they learn about the principles of organic farming and have their first experience of home baking real food. Meanwhile, the Corn Council is about to hold a meeting on making changes to Sasha Sweetcorn-on-the-Cob's home Cornfield, which divides opinions amongst the Vegetablae community. Using the knowledge they have gained from their school lessons and their trip to Budleaves Farm, can the Sproutlings save the day and protect the Sweetcorn-on-the-Cob's home Cornfield from too much vegetablemade intervention?

The Sproutlings' third and final term is one of new eggs'periences, beginnings and endings.A newcomer enters Sprouts School for Vegetablae, Tobias Tomato enters his first-ever Eggs'ercise Sports competition, the Sproutlings sit their Eggs'ams (with Pan Mushroom, the Polish History Teacher, returning to invigilate) and Professor Potato has his Eggs'it ceremony leaving his legacy on the 'living wall' leading up to the Science Classroom.The Sproutlings then end their education at Sprouts School for Vegetablae with a Vegtravaganza party.
