Tis the season where pumpkins are taken from a patch, golden leaves fall from the trees, snowflakes fly from window to window. There is a certain window you've already been to. That of the Lion residence. There is another window which is new to you. This residence belongs to the Bear family. One occupant in particular, an eight-year-old named Bunson is of particular interest of late. As his activities involve two very familiar faces: Lazar and Jingles. Bunson's relationship to Lazar and Jingles is simple. He is their cousin. He's on good terms with them. Most of the time. Even so. Those terms often are stretched beyond their limits. How does Bunson plan to make this next Halloween one of the most memorable ever? Just what does it have to do with old TV shows? What is Bunson involved with, as he hopes to supply Waterford with the biggest Thanksgiving feast in recent memory? Why is Jingles so afraid of this plan? Where is Lazar? Who is he with as Jingles struggles through Bunson's ordeal without his best friend's help? He dances with a blue rose and with the one who has placed it in his paw. Standing aside and watching events play out is Lazar's cousin Jingles. He watches, waits, and helps when possible. Above all else, Jingles hopes. He hopes for a future where fear is cast aside and blue roses bloom free.

From mirrors in strange places to stars ceasing to shine, friendships rekindle by fire's light. Elsewhere, in a forgotten realm separated by a dream, a monster builds a tribute to himself. Joined in the fight against Captain M.T. and his monstrous marvels are Sylvester Alexander Koala, Abner Pennster, Sgt. Jack Thompson, Sgt. Joseph Smith, Sgt. Martin Stephens, and a host of Waterford's best (and worst) citizens.Their ultimate goal? Dethrone Captain M.T. as would-be world ruler and send him and the curse of the Shadow Trees to hell once and for all.

On June 18th, 2015 a little miracle entered my life. Her name is Ariel. An adoption from The Michigan Animal Rescue League, she was thirteen weeks old on that June afternoon when she entered my home and won over my heart. Never before had I seen so much joy wrapped into anyone so small She was the smallest and cutest kitten I'd ever seen. Naturally, I took a lot of pictures of her. A keepsake of the day. Many days followed. Many more pictures followed. Memories were made. What you hold in your hand is, in short, those memories set to a little poem. Something I've come up with as a tribute to my little girl. Ariel is no longer a kitten, long a cat, she is however still the same little munchkin you'll see in these pictures. At least to me. Ariel will forever be my little baby girl

On the 8th of May, 2017 a little kitten crossed a road and walked into the path of a stranger. Through the words expressed by another stranger, me, a tale is told. A tale of a series of days where a kitten entered a home and became a member of a family. A family consisting of a lonely, aging man and his aging, eldery cats.There was that heart wrenching first night when Cooper cried unceasingly for his mother. An unending series of howls and moans, each of which tore at the heart strings of human and feline alike. Dawn finally broke and the kitten slept. The residents of the little blue house Cooper now called home sat hoping that the new day would bring the little kitten some peace of mind.Soon afterward came the happiest of events as kitten Cooper met someone much like himself. One who would become his best friend. A surrogate mother almost. Cooper came upon another member of the humans furry family, another tabby like himself. A father figure by the name of Cubby. A bond would form with the elderly tabby, one which still exists today. It always will. Within the pages of this book is that bonds beginning, for this is Cooper's tale. This is his book. It's a little ditty written to share a wonderful week that lives in my memory, now and forever. I can only hope I do the memory, and Cooper justice. For he is a special little kitty.It's been said that stray cats make the best of pets. That is only partially true. They are the best of course. Not of pets. They are the best of friends. Cooper is mine.
