I am 74-years-old this year and I have just updated my autobiography. I have had a rather long life and many things have happened while I've been here on earth. If we could go back in time, we would make many different choices. However, those choices could also be as bad as or even worse than the first choices, we made. We are therefore stuck with the choices and decisions we make through life. We must make the best of what we have chosen or what has befallen us and learn from our mistakes and our trials. I know not many will read this book, except perhaps those that like my writing or a few family members. As I write this, I have lost many in my family, but there could be others that would still enjoy it. I have written dozens of books, but this is the longest I have written. It contains a little over 136,000 words. I have things in this book that I have never told anyone. I believe if we share our trials and tribulations it may help those that have to also struggle or overcome adversity in their lives. Therefore, I hope you enjoy looking deep into my heart, the heart of a man - the heart of a writer. Thank you.

Many of us, if not all of us, have had things happen in our lives that cannot be easily explained. Perhaps it has not happened to you but it has happened to a friend or relative.I have had several things happen in my lifetime that cannot be easily explained and that's the reason for this book. I must say up front that many of these strange or unexplained things seem to be from God. If that seems offensive then this book is probably not for you.Some of these incidents were dreams that came to pass in every minute detail. Other things happened that I have no earthly explanation for. A few things are just odd or strange and I thought they were worth mentioning.I am hoping once this book is published that readers will share some of the extraordinary or unexplainable events that have also happened in their life. If so, I will try to include them in this book at a later date and they can be shared with the world. If you read this book and have had something that cannot be explained or know a story of someone that has had something similar, please contact me by Twitter or Facebook and let me know what it is. You can then write the event down and tell me if you would like to see it in this book. If I receive some good stories, I will try to include them. Since I can edit this book at any time, I will add other stories as the months go by. In addition, if I get enough stories, I can also make this e-book into a paperback.

To date, I have published over 75 titles and Mysteries of the Bible is my most popular book. The reason is, there are many mysteries and it takes a lot of study and God's guidance to understand them. Many things have also been hidden until our day.In the Book of Daniel, he was told "seal up the words until the time of the end." He was also told that men would travel all over the earth and knowledge would be increased. Some things are just now being revealed and there are more to come.In this book, I will reveal who the "two witnesses" are and where they are today. The Bible tells us what time of year the battle at Armageddon will be fought if we know where to look. The Bible also makes it clear about many other things that most do not understand. Like: What happens when you die? Who is the Antichrist? When was Christ born? When did Christ die (it was not on a Friday ). What day was He resurrected? What really happened in the Garden of Eden? If you truly look for the truth, you can find it. You must listen to what the Word says, however, and not to any man. If you question something that I have written, look for yourselves. Christ is the truth, so you cannot go wrong in following Him. The love between a husband and wife is the most intimate of all love and in writing this book I wanted to show how terrific that special bond is. Most believe that evolution is a fact. The fact is, it is still a theory and has never been proven and can't be. Why? Because it is not true I have studied nature since childhood and am an outdoor writer. I have also studied the Bible for over fifty years.In this book, I give some startling facts that show that evolution could not have accounted for the complex variety of life. I also give some Bible verses, which show that God is the Creator and that those that believe in evolution must have "faith" in a world that has created itself.In writing this little book, which is contains about 25,500 words, I will be using some quotes and a couple of excerpts from a few of my other books already written. I will also use quotes from so-called "experts" to show how ridiculous their thinking is and what they say to explain creation without a creator. This book has a little over 57,000 words and is a true story of one man's dream, my dream, of being a writer and living in a cabin in the woods. It seemed impossible at times for me to achieve that dream, and most would have never even attempted to try to do what I did. Because of my faith and what seems like a divine hand guiding me, I pressed on to do what I felt was my purpose and my destiny. This is my story of how I had a dream and tried to follow it. It tells of all the trials and tribulations I endured and how I kept going to fulfill that dream. While trying to achieve this dream, I lost my mother, my wife, my children, my job, and my home. At one point, I had no money, no job and no home, yet I had faith. Later, by this faith, I built a cabin by hand, using only a hammer and a handsaw. I dug my own well, installed solar electric and became a nationally published writer. Then, when I thought I had almost reached my goal, I lost nearly everything again. I lost my best friend, my father, and my loving wife whom I had found not long before. I also nearly lost a son. Picking up the pieces, I began again trying to follow that dream. This is that story and it is not yet over, for there are several more chapters in my life. Because of this, you, too, will become part of that dream when you read this book. This story is written on a very personal level. I try to tell things that happened and the way I felt at the time. I believe that speaking to the reader, as I would a close friend, gives a better understanding of the author's view and adds depth to the story. I will also be sharing my faith in God, for without His help I would not be here writing this book. So, what happens when your pet dies? Is there any chance that you will ever see them again? In this little book of about 30,000 words, I give some surprising answers. Buddy and Rambo: The Orphaned Raccoons is a heartwarming true story of two baby raccoons that were rescued and raised by the author and his wife. The little raccoons were found alone without their mother when they were about a month old. They were never caged and as they grew older, they were taught to find food for themselves in the wild. They were also on local and national TV. Today you can still see them on YouTube playing, wrestling with one another, and getting into mischief.

The controversy has been going on for many years now. Today, there are those that say, "It is a woman's right" to have an abortion. On the other side of the scale, there are those that say, "It is murder."What is the answer? Is it murder? Does a woman have a "right" to end a pregnancy? That is what this book is about.Will what I say in this book make any difference in the debate? I do not know. Most people have already made up their mind if abortion is right or wrong. There are others, however, that have not given it much thought. Even if you believe that a woman has a right to have an abortion, have you really looked into what the debate is all about? Have you looked carefully to see why there is such heated augments? If you are right and there is nothing wrong about a woman having an abortion, then you have nothing to worry about. "The Long Pond Road" is a tale of love, hardships, trials and tribulations. It also has some humor and drama. Many of the characters were also the author's ancestors or relatives. All of the stories were told to the author by the people that had gone through the events or knew people that did.Therefore, step back to a simpler time, a time where our great grandparents lived. See what life was like in their day and get to know and understand the hardships they endured so we could have it easier.This is a story of those that lived through the hardships and the challenges of that time. However, even in times of troubles and heartaches, there were times of joy.

I wrote the title of this book to get people's attention.
