Those who are dying, hope and pray for a miraculous healing. Sometimes people aren't healed. Sometimes they die. This book gives a candid view of those who live as well as those who don't. Looking death in the face is hard for people. Many fear the unknown. People worry that they won't be able to handle the pain or say the things that are important to their loved ones. Death is a sure thing for all of us but it doesn't have to be faced with dread. It is but a stepping stone from this realm to the next. Christ gives us hope for this life and for eternity. Hope, a confident expectation of something better tomorrow, is what sustains the terminally ill. Whether for a miraculous healing or eternal life after death, the stories in this book show us that hope does exist. This hope is in Christ. Kim Armstrong has been a registered nurse for 30 years. She has witnessed many miraculous healings of patients who were given a death sentence. She has also been present to watch numerous patients take their last breath. "Living by Faith Dying with Hope A Nurse's Story" is her second book about hope. She writes about the patients she has encountered who hope for a miracle but many times are consumed by death. She describes the faith of those who see miracles occur and the hope that sustains those who must face death. Kim lives in western Pennsylvania with her husband and children. She continues to work in the hospital setting.

The stories are a testament of how God intervenes when we place our trust and hope in Him Whether young or old. we all encounter trials and difficulties of life. Everyone will encounter sickness, death, fear, or poverty at some point in life. It is inevitable because we live in a fallen world. God tells us to place our worries and fears into His caring hands. He gives abundant life to those who trust in Him. Kim Armstrong has been a Registered Nurse for more than forty years. Her work includes Intensive Care, Cardiac and Hospice units. She has traveled to third world countries as a medical missionary and currently serves as Missions Pastor at her church. Kim has witnessed the despair and hopelessness of people. "Write the Stories " It is a collage of short stories pointing out God's intervention in the hopeless situations of life. Kim lives between Western PA and Eastern NC with her husband Kelley and Dalley, her long-haired white shepherd.
