Rap music is a billion dollar industry that had humble beginnings in the Bronx NY. Many people think that Rap music and Hip Hop are one and the same. But as the legendary Hip Hop artist KRS One said, "Rap is something you do, Hip Hop is something you live". This book is about MCs, one of the five elements of Hip Hop culture. Children of all ages will learn how 'MCing' (or Rapping) began and grew. Children of all ages will be able to learn information about how Rap music started.

When the term "Hip Hop" is mentioned, most people think "rap music". But Hip Hop culture is more than Rap music.
