Donny Jamison, fired from his job for being late once too often, takes a hike into the Mohave Mountains outside of Lake Havasu City, Arizona, to seek gold so that he'll never have to work again. Rather than finding a gold vein in the rocks and hills of the mountains, he stumbles upon a portal into an alternate world in which the White Man had never settled in America. Realizing that this new world would contain all the gold found in the past in his own world, he interests his brother Eric and a full-blooded Mojave Indian named Pat in putting together a team of men to go into the other world, find the gold, and bring it back into their own world. They invite a female doctor and adventuresome female nurse to join them. Two native Indians from the other world give them guidance and help as they cross the open wilderness toward the area in their own world called Sutter's Mill.Despite Donny's big dreams of being so rich that all his problems will be resolved, time, unforeseen circumstances, accidents, and an enraged Indian on the other side works against him and his group in achieving their goal. Just when it seems things might be working out, internal conflicts, deaths, and overwhelming obstacles get in their way. What Donny had perceived as the answer to all his problems turns out to be a nightmare, rather than a blessing. He can't be sure that he and his friends will make it back alive through the portal and into the safety of their own world.

Finding a baby Triceratops in the house, sixteen-year-old Jeff Watson confronts his two brothers, Riley and Wayne, who claim to have gone back in time and accidently brought the dinosaur home. Jeff's friend, Mitch Arnoldson, buys their story, but Jeff can't believe Riley built a real, working time machine with his computer. Playing along, Jeff agrees to pack a bag and make the trip through time to take the dinosaur home. Carlita and Macy, the girlfriends of Jeff and Mitch, go along, just for the fun of it. Much to Jeff's surprise, Riley's time machine really works, and in a flash, Jeff finds himself in a world as alien to him as the moon. Separated from Mitch and the girls, Jeff must keep himself and his brothers alive until they meet up again to go home. Unfortunately, man-eating dinosaurs aren't the only danger Jeff has to avoid.A devious man from the government, determined to keep Riley's computer a secret, follows the kids with a plan to steal Riley's computer and leave the kids stranded in the Jurassic Era. Will Jeff and his brothers avoid being eaten by hungry T-Rexes, only to find themselves stuck millions of years in the past? Or will Jeff find a way to get all of them home safely?

Brad Jones is living a happy, uncomplicated life, until the night he has his first episode. It happens while he and his girlfriend, Chrissy, are watching a movie. He asks her to stop rubbing her fingers across the back of his hand, but she isn't. This is his first Funny Feeling. Over the following days, he has more episodes. Each one more intense than the last. Then he starts hearing voices, faint at first, but with each episode they get clearer . . . and more disturbing. The episodes vary from fingers running through his hair, a cool washcloth moving across his body, to needle pricks in his arm. They get worse as time goes on. Thinking he may be losing his mind, Brad consults a doctor, who can't give him any answers. After leaving the doctor's office, Brad decides he needs to be alone for a while. He goes for a drive and ends up in a head-on collision. When he regains consciousness, he finds himself in a hospital room with a woman he doesn't know, claiming to be his wife. Suddenly, he's married with three kids and neurotic parents. Can he get back to Chrissy and his old life?
