Troubled by neurological issues since birth, followed by years of perpetual pain, it was devastating to be told by medical specialists that there was nothing more that they could do for me. Not willing to accept that fact, with little more than my inner pilot light to depend upon, I set out on a journey of hope, resilience, courage and determination to rewrite my future.
