NOW A FEATURE FILM STARRING DANNY TREJO AVAILABLE ON AMAZON.Cover Me The Loyalty Treasures SummaryLife. It is a gift we all receive. Our choices determine the luster, or not, of the one we live. Love. For those of us most fortunate, we find the love we need to make it through in happiness. Loyalty. Our families, our friends, our jobs - each of these is an opportunity to experience a bond that, though unseen, cannot be broken. Like a mighty wind in the top of the trees, or that still small breeze just powerful enough to move one feather, loyalty lies waiting for us in our decisions. Betrayal. Unfortunately for some of us, the winds of loyalty do not blow our way - the job that doesn't care if they let us go, the husband that has an affair, the family feud, or the life-long best friend that isn't.Cover Me: The Loyalty Treasures has been adapted for the silver screen, starring Danny Trejo, Jesse Metcalfe, TC Stallings, and Jaci Velasquez. Jaci has also done an original song, the title song for the film, Cover Me.The story tells us that what comes in our future depends on what actions we take. If we think we are victims of our past, we are. However, when a mysterious stranger enters the life of a much to busy workaholic parent and spouse, everything changes. This romantic comedy-drama-mystery takes us on a roller coaster of experiences until finally, the protagonist "wakes up" to the fact that if we want to change something, we have to change something. And of course, someone is always watching...

After reading Pete Carroll's book "Win Forever" I had a really good feeling about the Seattle Seahawks and their 2013 NFL season. Call it a premonition, but I kind of knew this would be the year they would go to and win their first Super Bowl. Having this awareness at the outset of the season, I realized that I had an opportunity: why not create a week by week chronology of the season as it progressed, documenting the team's exploits as they advanced through the campaign to the Big Game? I am also a blogger and I thought it would be cool to publish my reports, both as the season went along as a blog, and after it was over as a book. So that is what I did, and that is what you have in "Why Not Us? A Chronology of the Seattle Seahawks' First Super Bowl Championship Season". If you are a "Twelve" or just a fan of football, you will love it

As a child, you never wondered about the bionics of the comics featuring Little Audrey, Casper the Friendly Ghost, Baby Huey, Sad Sack, Herman and Katnip, Mutt and Jeff, Richie Rich, Little Dot, The Black Cat, Stumbo the Giant, and Little Lotta. Now, the story behind their glory reverberates with renewed discoveries by author Mark Arnold. Alfred Harvey, along with brothers Leon and Robert, established memorable comic books themed with war, romance, Westerns, science-fiction, 3-D, superheroes, and, most of all, humor. Through their artists' pens and inks, Joe Palooka, Blondie, and Dick Tracy became more famous than some American Presidents. Harvey Comics' profusely illustrated history, as told by the people that worked there, includes Alfred Harvey, Jack Kirby, Joe Simon, Lee Elias, George Baker, Ham Fisher, Ernie Colon, Wally Wood, Jim Steranko, Sid Jacobson, Warren Kremer, Jeff Montgomery, and New Kids on the Block. Family battles, lawsuits, turmoil, scandals, triumphs, and transitions behind the scenes reveal the histrionics behind the comics. Illustrated with more than 800 photos. Comic Book Index, General Index, and a Harvey Who's Who. Foreword by Dan Parent.About author Mark Arnold: a well-known historian of pop culture, is also author of The Best of the Harveyville Fun Times ; Created and Produced by Total TeleVision productions; Mark Arnold Picks on The Beatles; Frozen in Ice: The Story of Walt Disney Productions; Think Pink: The Story of DePatie-Freleng; Pocket Full of Dennis the Menace "He covers the heyday of Harvey, and the eventual demise, through interviews and discussions with the people who were actually there. No stone goes unturned . . . ." -Dan Parent"The Harvey Comics Companion fills a huge gap in comics history. Comprehensive in its approach, it addresses the characters, writers, artists, techniques, and advertisers that characterized Harvey Comics, along with the media that the comics influenced . . . this book is a godsend, enabling us to understand the Harvey legacy and recall the delightful stories and characters." -Kathy Merlock Jackson "A Harvey companion, yes, but much more--a richly detailed, exhaustively researched history of a company that entertained millions with its vast array of characters and media. Mark Arnold chronicles the decades-long journey from one century to the next, as key people who helped make it happen provide generous 'narration' for the fascinating story." -Greg Ehrbar, author and film and music historian "Harvey Comics, brimming with the effervescent work of Sid Couchey, Ernie ColOn, and (especially) Warren Kremer, along with so many other wonderful creators, were the ambrosia of my childhood. Mark Arnold is the one true scholar of that cherished publisher's history. We're all that much better for having them both, notably in a single volume. Hot stuff, indeed " -Jon B. Cooke, editor of Comic Book Creator and ACE magazines

Mary Shelley's Frankenstein, The Book That Changed the WorldMonster: Publishing to coincide with the 200th anniversary of the publication of Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein and a movie starring Elle Fanning as Mary Shelley, Monster is a brilliant fictionalized biography akin to The Other Boleyn Girl. Frankenstein: Two centuries ago this year, the young woman who invented science fiction was only 20 when she wrote the book that became Frankenstein. Mary Shelley said, “People ask how I, then a young girl, could think of, and dilate upon, so hideous subject?” Gothic Romance: Her father gave her a far better education than any woman of the age could hope for and made her the victim of ongoing incest. At 15, she became involved with one of the greatest poets in England and made love to him on her mother’s grave. When she was 16, she escaped from home by running away for a six week walking tour of Europe and formed a ménage a trois with Shelley and her sister. Mary Shelley - Frankenstein: Her immediate influences were two of the greatest poets of the age. Her lover, Percy Shelley, coached her to expand her understanding of writing. Her mentor, Lord Byron, challenged her to prove she was as good a writer as the best poet-philosophers of the Enlightenment. Both men admired her mind, and both wanted more. By the time she was 20, she published the book that changed the world.
