A review of the current status of the American Heartland and its response to Progressivism, Climate Change Alarmism, the COVID -19 Pandemic, China's impact today and in the future, and the infiltration of Marxism into the American School system in the guise of Critical Race Theory. The book includes a modern day Declaration of Independence that was originally proposed in "The Moral Case for American Freedom."

Somewhere in the preceding generations, the direction of the United States of America has careened towards an unsustainable progressive interpretation of the Constitution that will lead to further bankruptcy of the Nation and threatens individual Freedom. The Government has set itself above the Governed. Even the basic principles set forth at the birth of the Nation have been corrupted. The ultimate result we hope to achieve with this book is to return the Country to the Founders' vision of Individual Freedom and away from Progressivism or the Rule of the State. The first step towards that final result is to inform Generation Z and others of the Truth. It is up to Generation Z and the generations that follow to right the Ship of State. This book provides the Guidelines to do just that.The author uses the methodology developed by another author and activist, Alex Epstein who developed a methodology for winning a complex debate. The book provides a summary of the History of America in a fictional account chapter called the Home Country, a Conversation with some of the founders and contemporary Constitutional Originalists and Progressives. A potential solution called the Convention of States is discussed. The book also includes the actual text of the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution.

The American People are basically good. While this is contrary to some religious beliefs about the inherent internal nature of Humankind, the American Heartland is made up people who desire to get along with each other and to help others when necessary. One word describes the Heartland, that word is Kindness. Kindness is found in rural America. It is essentially neighbor helping neighbor in times of hardship and celebrating together when things are good.The American Heartland has had enough and it is going to do something about it in 2022 and 2024. Let's be clear, the United States of America is a great country. To most Americans, it is the greatest country in the World. It was founded on Judeo-Christian principles and became a free nation in 1776. It corrected its major flaw, the slavery of blacks in 1865. It wasn't a perfect correction. It took the courage of a black pastor, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. to peacefully protest and achieve what was written in 1776, "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness." People in the American Heartland are not racist, and they are through being called that by the media, celebrities and political elites. They believe that All Lives Matter to their Creator and that the Black Lives Matter movement is Marxist blather and evil in its intent. The Heartland rejects the onslaught of fascists calling themselves Antifa. They are the obvious brown shirts of the Democratic Party since there was no outcry from that party during the violent protests and riots during 2020 and there has been no effort by Federal law enforcement to arrest the leaders and organizers of those local insurrections.It is very apparent that President Biden and the Democratic Party did not understand the message of the 2016 Presidential Election or the 2010 Tea Party. Their focus was, and continues to be, on the negative personality traits of the Messenger, Donald Trump and not the Message itself. It was the Trump Administration policies under the banners Make America Great Again and America First that most of the Nation supported with near unanimous support in the American Heartland. Trump's agenda resonated with the very essence of Heartland values, Individual Freedom, Equality of Opportunity and The American Dream.It is also very apparent that the mainstream media have failed in their duty to be objective reporters. They do not need to be patriots. They just need to be honest and they haven't been for a long time. It may be too late for the media to return to the Journalist Creed. If they remain corrupt, they can watch as the American Heartland rises to do its duty at the ballot box in 2022.

The preponderance of material included in the biography was originally drafted by Dr. Armstorng in the years preceding his death at age 76 in 2017. It includes a personal history of the Charles' father, O.K. Armstrong that was developed by Dr. Armstrong from taped interviews of the late Congressman(and noted Reader's Digest author) in his later years, the impact of his father's career on Charles' own life, his struggle with the death of his mother. Louise Armstrong, the challenges and triumphs of medical school, service as an Army Flight-Surgeon in Vietnam, and battle with throat cancer as seen from the eyes of a surgeon. The biography was reviewed for accuracy by Dr. Armstrong's remaining siblings, O.K. Armstrong Jr., Stanley Armstrong and Milton Armstrong. The Armstrong family provided the photographs included in the manuscript.

The Green New Deal utilizes a propaganda technique called Appeal to Fear. It advances the notion that the U. S. must initiate a massive and urgent State-run program that would control the climate by reducing the use of carbon-based fuels. It would simultaneously improve the lot of the poor and middle class. In truth, this proposed program would be a complete waste of human and natural resources. The entire concept is based on the false premises that carbon dioxide (CO2) is a pollutant, CO2 emissions are bad, that the increasing rate of CO2 emissions from burning fossil fuels is causing the global temperature to rise which will lead to adverse climate change, and that reducing fossil fuel use is an immediate necessity to protect the natural environment from most human actions. None of the premises are true but an entire political party has been co-opted by the 'old' glamour of young, na ve want-to-be Marxists who have seized on this invalid concept, The New Green Deal, to disguise a push for complete State control in all matters. The Party establishment has caved and now Democratic Socialism is a primary plank in the Party's progressive political platform.This book is intended to address the future role of carbon-based fuels in a rational manner and without a hidden political or ideological agenda. It is agreed that the supply of fossil fuels is finite and the natural environment is affected by its continued use. Most of the effects are beneficial for both humans and the environment. But some are not. However, there is enough time to plan for a transition to cleaner energy without massive government intervention in the form of the control of production and the private sector. That type of government intervention is by definition-- Socialism. It has never been successful.This is a serious matter. One that must be considered in a clear-eyed and non-ideological way. They are in the Pursuit of Socialism. Millennials beware.

The history of the science of Climate Change from the perspective of a bunch of hogs.The world has never experienced a method of mass communication as instantaneous as that provided by the Internet. Unfortunately, it has also sped up the ability for lies to spread. "A Lie will go around the world while Truth is pulling its boots on." This proverb was mostly likely penned by Jonathan Swift in 1710 and eloquently restated by Charles Haddon Spurgeon in 1855. Now that lies can spread instantaneously, what recourse does Truth have? Truth must be patient and steady. Truth cannot go on offense. To call a lie a lie is to lose one's own credibility. Truth must slowly reveal itself.Ostriches do not really hide their heads in the sand on the hope that some approaching danger will just go away. They are really just pecking at the ground for food and grit for their gizzards to aid in digestion. Lemmings do not stampede in a blind panic to their death over a cliff. They just get over-populated in one area from time to time and migrate in mass to another area that is more appealing. But a compelling documentary film can change the public perception. In 1958, Disney produced a film on Nature that showed lemmings rushing over a cliff to their death in the sea. The producers of the documentary herded the poor lemmings to the cliff. It was spectacular but false. Al Gore and Sir David Attenborough did the same thing with polar bears. So, you see, it is really just Created Myth versus Actual Truth.

He also obtained a law degree from Columbia. Armstrong was a WWI fighter pilot, a Missouri State congressman and a member of the U. S. House of Representatives.
