This is a good resource to help parents talk to their children (ages 1-5) about what happens when they face bad weather or hurricanes that are coming into the community. It also teaches them that it is safer to stay inside when these different weather situations make playing outside dangerous and to stay in contact with their family. This will help families come together in any and all unforeseen weather situations or any obstacle in their lives, and it will make them stronger.

This book includes poetry that I've written over the my early years when I began writing in the late 1970's. I have enjoyed writing since then. I have also written several songs, some that are included in this compilation of my poetry. It was later when I began painting.
This book was an idea that my mother gave me. She said "Why don't you do a book on the old-fashioned tools and old-fashioned ways from the past, like a century ago? That was a little over three years ago. Just recently I decided to go ahead and finish working on this informative composite of what our ancestors used way back in their days of growing up in our country. I still have the plow and corn shucker that came from my mother's house. Growing up in our family was very enlightening because we would always hear about what it was like when our parents grew up and some of the funny stories. I hope that all parents and grandparents will share this with their children and grandchildren.
