This new collection of 33 short poems about life was inspired, in part, by the following quote from Jiddu Krishnamurti: "What is the art of living? Where there is division in us psychologically there must be conflict, and therefore disorder. As long as there is disorder, trying to find order is still disorder."Nowhere is this division more obvious, more acute, more noticeable than in our everyday relationships with one another in our normal, mundane day to day living. The simple fact of the matter is that we are conflicted, confused and often deeply wounded. And the fact of our "brokenness" tends to manifest as deep loneliness and a feeling of estrangement from the very people we desire to be closest to and share our lives with.

This new collection of 33 poems about life and love take their inspiration from the following Jiddu Krishnamurti quote..."To be free, the mind must not only see and understand its pendulum-like swing between the past and the future but also be aware of the interval between thoughts..."Each poem seeks to illuminate and explore the (sometimes) "spacious" gaps between our thoughts engendered by the many "things" and "moments" that make up our daily life. As such, each poem is a bit like a "still life" focusing on the often overlooked aspects of our day to day existence.

This collection of 33 poems about life and death speak to those painful spaces that echo between our shared experience of love and loss. Each poem offers an honest and heartfelt reflection on grief and loneliness based, in part, on the writings of J. Krishnamurti."When death comes, it does not ask your permission; it comes and takes you; it destroys you on the spot. In the same way, can you totally drop hate, envy, pride of possession, attachment to beliefs, to opinions, to ideas, to a particular way of thinking? Can you drop all that in an instant?" J. From the simple to the sublime, this collection of 33 short poems about life shines a spotlight on our relationship with others (and ourselves) as reflected in the (often) mundane experiences of everyday life. Each lived moment can be an epiphany - each word or gesture a gateway into a deeper and fuller understanding of our human experience in all its complexity. After all, according to Jiddu Krishnamurti "Relationship is the mirror in which you discover yourself."

The theme for this third collection of short poems is a meditation on life and love inspired by a quote from Jiddu Krishnamurti... "Can there be love when the mind is occupied with itself all the time?"These 33 poems invite you to ask questions rather than providing concrete answers which are fueled and fed by our ongoing relationship to ourselves, to other people we encounter and finally with our world.
