Budget deficits, gas prices, health care costs, social security, job security.... Anxiety over the economy pervades our daily lives—from reports on the early morning newscasts to gossip around the water cooler to dinner table debate. Yet most citizens are woefully ignorant when it comes to understanding how the economy works and how to interpret the impact of policies and business decisions. It's easy to slip into generalities: government spending is wasteful, taxes are too high, good-paying jobs are being shipped overseas, Americans don't save enough. Other issues become hijacked by political partisans to advance their agendas: trade must be fair!, tax cuts will pay for themselves!, there will be no money left in the social security till after the baby boomers loot it! In Smart Economics, Michael Walden provides an antidote: take 50 of today's top economic issues and explain their meaning, implications, and potential solutions in a logical, straightforward, commonsense, and non-partisan way. Has Government Spending Been Out of Control? Is Profit Bad? Walden applies basic economic concepts and logical argumentation to help readers get their bearings—to separate fact from fiction and ultimately make better economic decisions themselves. The result is an entertaining and highly informative introduction to economic principles and their influence on our behavior. In Smart Economics, Michael Walden provides an antidote: take 50 of today's top economic issues and explain their meaning, implications, and potential solutions in a logical, straightforward, commonsense, and non-partisan way. From Has Government Spending Been out of Control? to Is Profit Bad? to Why Are Pro Sports Stars Paid So Much? Walden demystifies the dismal science, using basic concepts and logical argumentation to help readers get their bearings—to separate fact from fiction and ultimately make better decisions, when it comes to spending, investing, saving, and voting. The result is an entertaining and informative introduction to economic principles and their influence on our behavior.

Entering the tavern, they find that they have been deceived. The tavern is empty and dark. The doors cannot be opened. Can they solve this puzzle and escape, or will they die of starvation and become part of the puzzle? The Tavern is designed for any level adventurers due to the lack of combat in this puzzle centric dungeon. The adventurers rescue a damsel being kidnapped by a group of savage beast men. What other dangers wait in The Girl Who Ran Away? This third dungeon is designed for 4 to 6 level 2 or 3 adventurers. Within those mines an ancient evil hides, an ancient evil that those adventurers believed they had put to rest. Descending into the mines, adventurers face creatures suffering from a vile corruption. Destroying those creatures releases a viscous black liquid, physical liquified evil, that escapes through minute cracks in the stonework. What is it? Where is it going? Your agency has been brought in for a vital mission. Your team is sent in to recover a piece of experimental technology, something that cannot fall into enemy hands, but is in enemy territory. Reach the technology before the enemy, recover it and the pilot. Sounds like a straight forward mission, but nothing is ever that easy. Black drop in or drive through the border gate, either way your team will face overzealous enemy leaders, outmatched conflicts, and was that a helicopter? Prepare your agents for a cinematic gaming experience in Operation: Fallen Sparrow. This manhunt is designed for four to six agents of level two or three. It can be a combat heavy mission, so having a team with more combat skills can be beneficial, but a skilled team of agents should be up for any challenge. A copy of Operation Espionage: A Game of Spies is needed to play.

A massive lake is home to several villages along the coastline. The villages benefit from fishing the waters and by logging the rare Molderian Tree from the islands that dot the lake. The wood from the Molderian Trees creates fabulous pieces of furniture and decor that the regional nobility desire. But logging the wood has its own challenges. The islands are inhabited by native primates that are very protective of their homes. They do not like interlopers and push them out. The primates have other secrets though, gold. Will the adventurers brave the waters and island to acquire the gold they seek? This double feature module consists of two stories that develop from the same beginning. Through skill checks during an interactive introduction, the story will flow into one of the two stories. Or the judge can choose which story to tell. Rough Waters begins on the lake as the adventurers are traveling to one of the islands on a logging expedition. With loggers, guards, and some gold seeking adventurers along, a storm picks up. Can the adventurers survive the storm, or will they find the secrets held below the surface? The Cave in the Tree begins on the lake as well. Once they make it to the island, the adventurers begin exploring the island in a "sandbox light" adventure. Eventually the adventurers find themselves entering a cave built into a tree. Within a dungeon of aggressive native primates; what else is hidden in this interesting cave? Rough Waters and The Cave in the Tree are two zero level funnels originating from the same village. These adventures are compatible with the Dungeon Crawl Classics Role Playing Game.

War and skirmishes happen all over the world. There are organizations that do not trust one another. There are groups that directly hate and are unable to tolerate each other. Those groups play the war. Behind those wars; behind the veil of society, another set of skirmishes happens. Those skirmishes are between groups that also do not trust one another, but they hide that from the world. Those groups are playing the game of spies. Operation Espionage: A Game of Spies is a tabletop role-playing game where the players take on the persona of a spy, a member of one of those groups behind the veil of society. The team of players can traverse the world as covertly or overtly as they wish to accomplish missions--how they create their story is up to them. The game is played using a Roll versus Roll mechanic system that keeps the luck of the game in the roll of the dice--there are no difficulty checks. Even the Spymaster will be surprised at what happens when playing the game of spies.
