Gabrielle and her parents flew from California to Virginia to visit Grandma.Grandma was happy to see them and Gabrielle especially happy to see Grandma for the first time.Gabrielle's parents were going to stay with Grandma until they found a house of their own in Virginia, Gabrielle was happy that she had her own room that she could decorate as she liked. In the meantime, Gabrielle went to pre-school, She loved pre-school and made lots of friends, Her constant talking to her classmates got her in big trouble with the teacher and her parents. She also made some surprising changes.

Frankie, the new kid in the neighborhood, makes friends very quickly. He loves to play pirates, cowboys and Indians, and explore the neighborhood on his big wheel with his friends after school.He always forgets the time and is always late for dinner. Gabrielle is three years old, very smart, and curious. She loved living in sunny California where the weather is never too hot or too cold. She enjoyed many wonderful adventures in California with her parents to the park, zoo, beach, mountains, and Disneyland. Gabrielle was happy to see so many empty boxes in the house for her to play with. Her parents told her they were moving to Virginia and they needed the boxes to pack their things. Gabrielle was told that California was very far from Virginia, and they would have to fly on an airplane to Virginia. Gabrielle's parents took her to the library to read books about airplanes so that she wouldn't be afraid to fly on the airplane. Gabrielle was very excited about going to Virginia and flying on an airplane. This was going to be a very special adventure.

Gabrielle's parents were awaiting the arrival of their first child in a few days. They knew it was a girl and hoped she would arrive on the 10th of the month so that she would have a special bond with her mother, who was also born on the 10th of the month. But, Gabrielle arrived on the 15th, healthy, with ten fingers and ten toes, and smiling.
